Mystec

Header one

Mystec was born as the only son of the leaders of his pack, the Azustals. His parents had cubs before but none had survived, making them very protective over Mystec. Due to that over protection, Mystec wasn't very fun to hang out with, making him very isolated from the others from his generation.

When he reached the age of twelve he told his parents about this, how he had no friends and no one liked to invite him to anything since the answer always had to be no, and he begged them to let him do things by his own. His parents were very reluctant in letting their son be out on his own, especially because their tension with the Skyars was only growing, so they let him have more freedom, but on a gradual scale. However, the damage was already done, the cubs around his age already had their closed friend groups and he was left out, he tried to join some but always felt constantly left out. So he started to instead stay on his own in the woods.

One day in the woods however, he met someone, a big, fluffy purple bat-like creature, leaping from a tree to another until he loft his balance and fell right in front of the little fox. He seemed weird at first, but he was the only one that Mystec ever met that seemed genually interested in talking to him. He introduced himself as Shawd, and he quickly showed himself was the best friend Mystec could have ever hoped to have, he was kind, funy, and understood Mystec's stuggle's with anxiety and eye-contact, Shawd was very patient with Mystec's social stuggles, for once in his life, Mystec felt like he had one genuine friend who actually appreciated his company.

Header two

One day however, when Mystec was 17, and he was in the forest with Shawd, something horrible happened. The stakes between the Azustals and the Skyars has always been high, but no one had ever expected what was about to come. While Mystec's mother was out on a field alone, she was attacked, she was found almost passed out with several claw marks all over her fur. She was brought back but was in very critical condition. She was still able to speak, and told that one of the Skyars had attacked her out of nowhere. When Mystec found out, he stood by her side the entire night, but her condition only got worse and worse, knowing her time was running out, she gave him a little pink flower as a reminder of how much she loved him, and that part of her would forever live on by his side. She passed on in the morning.

Furious, Mystec's father declared war against the Skyars, not only had they murdered his wife, but at this point he was cernain they were responsible for the deaths on most of Mystec's siblings. The Skyars stood no chance, they were attacked in the dead of the night and were severely outnumbered. Mystec waasn't allowed to go, as his father was afraid of him being a target, but he heard members of his pack talking about it, and he felt horrible. He also tried to spend some time with his father, who was devastated after his mate died. Some days later, his father told him that now that the Skyars were dead, he had full freedom to do what he wanted, Mystec thanked him, and made sure to remind his father how much he loved him, he knew he needed it.

Later that night, Mystec was hanging out with Shawd again, they were both having a lot of fun together, until the temperature started to rise, and they saw a light in the distance, it took a while for Mystec to process it, until it finally hit him. It was fire. His village was on fire.

Header three

Mystec and Shawd flew as fast as they could, but when they arrived, the village was swallowed by the fire. Mystec tried to jump in and save his people, but Shawd dragged him from there, Mystec tried to fight him off, but Shawd was much stronger than him. Mystec argued with Shawd, insisting he needs to help his people and famil, Shawd argues back however, saying there was too much fire, too much smoke; it would be suicide. Mystec tries to argue, but he starts to slowly break as he realizes Shawd was right. He begins to blame himself, if he had been there when the fire started he could ahve surely saved some victims of the fire.

As Mystec is being comforted by Shawd, he hears something. He quickly leaves Shawd to go after the souns, in hopes it's a survivor, in hopes it's his father. However, as Mystec arrives to see an empty forest, all left is the scent of smoke, death, and.. a Skyar. A Skyar had caused the fire. As Mystec looks up, all he sees is a shadow flying towards the moon. He tries to fly after them but collapses from exaustion, the last thing he sees is Shawd flying up to him in despair.

Mystec has since been living with Shawd, he maynever forget the events of that day, he still has nightmares with everyone he knew burning, and of that Skyar coming back for him. He is paranoid about candles suddently lighting up everything, and he has never again came close to the woods he used to go to. But Shawd has been trying to help him work on his traumas and tries to get Mystec to occupy his mind with other things, like travelling, reading, gardening, and other activities that allow him to think of things other than the accident. However, as much as Mystec is tries to move on, he can never forget the Skyar he saw flying away that night.
