Rhona

🍊 Rhona 🍊

Rhona is a cinnamon black bear and my primary (and currently only) fursona. She enjoys the simple things in life and takes things one day at a time. 

Rhona’s Character

Rhona is a simple bear who loves to cuddle in warm blankets with a plushie in one hand, a mug of hot cocoa within arm’s reach, and her wife laid across her belly as they watch a movie together. Rhona surrounds herself in things that she enjoys and avoids stress in her life. If something in Rhona’s life brings her more negativity than positivity, she has no issue throwing it away.

Rhona likes all sorts of plush animals, but has an affinity for plushies of marine life in particular. She is often holding a plush as she goes by her day-to-day activities and cycles through them to give them all attention. Her favorite plush animals are those gifted to her by her friends, and they carry a lot of sentimental value to her. Especially Boris the Boar, the first gift she received from Solvieg. She also has loads of plushies from symbolically adopted animals.

Rhona's Fursona Role

Rhona serves to represent an idealized state of mind for myself. Rhona shares my current body type and, unlike myself, is comfortable in her body. She lives life day-by-day never stressing about the future. Rhona doesn't worry about anything to come and lives a very relaxed life as a result. Rhona prioritizes her mental well being over all else. She also deeply cares for her friends' and her wife's wellbeing, going out of her way to cheer them up during their bad days. 

Rhona has bad days and moments like everyone else and deals with them in my preferred way. She'll lay in bed, cuddled with her spouse and a handful of plushies while she watches her favorite shows and movies. When Rhona gets stressed beyond her handling point, she takes a moment to herself to listen to relaxing folk music and maybe do some light yoga. Afterwards, she'll probably eat frozen yogurt, ice cream, or other such cold treats to finish her cooling down process. Rhona also loves a good "Solvieg Cloak"- a patented technique where Solvieg gives Rhona a hug with a blanket, creating a cloak around the couple.
