Notes for now:

  • older fellow
  • mutant
  • smoker
  • gunslinger. ambidextrous
  • quite enjoys shooter video games
  • Wakes up at dawn almost every day, even if he doesn't want to. A side effect of his mutation. Has a hard time going to sleep in the day.
  • impeccable hand-eye coordination. rarely misses a shot. decades of practice tend to lead to that.
  • married to a villain. He himself is a hero, but isn't a part of any organization. Considering the oldest surviving hero organization is only 15 years old, and Silas has been doing hero work for longer than that, he tends to look down his nose at them. In his opinion, he can do better without them. He's worked in the (Emperors? Prin? (hero organization)) for a few years now, and fits right in with the competitive mindset.
  • Since marrying Victor, he's stopped having to worry about not having paychecks for his hero work. Considering leaving the organization in favor of going back to freelance.
  • Has an understanding with Victor regarding the man's criminal activities. At a glance, the understanding just seems to be 'fend for ourselves and don't cross paths'.
  • Competitive, snarky. Weasel. Silas gets a kick out of shit-talking people with friends. Despite his persnickety nature, he does still hold high regards to those who are more clever than him. He's just also going to make fun of them.
Power ideas for when properly added to HURT:

- guns aren't ordinary guns, instead summon-able power-created weapons. Uno is the first one that should be fired, because Duo's next bullet will follow and strike a horizontally mirrored location on whatever Uno hit (if Uno hit someone's right shoulder, Duo will hit their left. If Uno hit the lower left of a signpost, Duo will hit the lower right). Because they're created with a power, they don't run out of ammo. They vanish at will or when Silas is unconscious
- His body runs hotter than normal, about 105F. His fingertips and clawtips can become hot enough to cauterize wounds.
- Once a week, when faced with a mortal wound, Silas's entire body erupts into fire and the wound turns to ash in it. He stays on fire for a couple of minutes, strength and energy renewed. Once the fire burns out, he becomes similarly exhausted. Rather than trying to fight through the fire, the few times he's faced near-death, he does his best to take the opportunity to get away before he runs out of energy.
