Personality:
Melon is an impressionable and insecure kid who's terrified of being left behind or seen as weak by his peers. Because of that, it's easy to pressure him into doing dangerous stunts. His fearfulness also means he is quick to flee from his problems rather than immediately face them head-on. Melon does have a good heart though and tries to be a friend to all, despite his anxiousness.
After trial and error, Melon becomes a more grounded individual in his adulthood. Not that he doesn't still have his moments, however, just that he can bounce back and handle himself better than when he was a kid. His growing confidence means that he is eager to undo any of his mistakes and can now lead the flow of conversation. Melon still retains some childhood traits like his politeness and soft-spoken nature too.
