Appearance
A young Sky-Sand hybrid. More compact than a SkyWing, with Sand facial features. Weak and soft build, with a distinct lack of weathering or scars of any kind. Sail starts at nose and ends at the base of neck. Black eyes.
Personality
Humorous, naïve, insecure, proper, submissive to authority, patient, curious.
He heavily relies upon praise and doing things right.
He has a fear of failure and will become very nervous if asked to do something he's inexperienced with.
He has a lack of prejudices due to his upbringing, being fairly unfamiliar with the hatred of RainWings, NightWings, and so forth.
He also knows relatively little about dragons in general.
He has very low self worth/confidence, and often sees himself as unimportant, due to always being told that he was just a decoration.
Powers and Abilities
Sunstone possesses a mixture of SkyWing and SandWing abilities:
- Tail barb: Sunstone's tail barb is present but lacks venom. It can still pierce scales and serves as an effective bluff, but once its nature is revealed it obviously becomes much less effective. He is subconsciously more lax with its positioning than normal SandWings when he's not paying attention.
- Fire breath

- Good hearing
Pre-RP History
- His mother was a SkyWing named Grouse, his father was a SandWing named Calcine.
- Calcine left her, having a disinterest in dragonets and having only been for her to have an egg for herself.
- Shortly after having an egg, Grouse faced a sudden tragedy that forced her to sell her egg due to being unable to rear a dragonet. She sells it to a SandWing in Possibility named Flare.
- Sunstone hatched in Flare's care, and was raised by her.
- Flare viewed hybrids as pretty objects rather than true dragons, having a fascination in the physical variations in them. She found Sunstone particularly pretty, and chose him as her favorite.
- Sunstone was made to largely sit in one spot for most of all days, and was decorated with gold jewelry. He would have limited time every day to move around and stretch his body. He received no education, since Flare saw him as a decoration, not a dragonet, so he only learned what he overheard.
- As he matured he started annoying her more for stimulation, and having also grown bored of him by this point, she unceremoniously resold him in the alleys of Possibility to a SkyWing named Ptarmigan.
- Ptarmigan brought Sunstone and other dragons he'd bought to the Sky Kingdom, where he housed them until they could learn to survive properly and reintegrate into society.
