Tsbubaki was originally created to be a mentor and guide for the Samurai that once frequented the mountains he was created in. He watched over the villages and people of his mountains until the monks passed away and the Samurai stopped coming to the mountains.

Once his purpose was fulfilled, he began to travel and found it to be a passion of his. He enjoys traveling and finding new people and places and does it frequently, though he did decide to settle down in a small mountain village far from his original home.

These days, while he isn't traveling, he is running a small tea shop in a village very far from his original home. He finds it calming and reminds him of the Monks that once created him, just as travel reminds him of the samurai. He hopes to someday continue fulfilling his purpose, to find more Samurai to train.

Until that day, he runs his tea shop peacefully and continues to enjoy his calming life.

Persona

"You can never plan the future by the past"

- Edmund Burke

Tsubaki is a very calm and stoic Furo. Since he was raised by monks, he is frequently meditating and follows after their examples often. He likes quiet places, which is one reason why he enjoys travel so much. Not only does it remind him of the days that he used to travel different lands teaching Samurai to be humble and calm, but it also brings him peace amongst his current life and helps him remember what he had always been taught. While he is very humble and calm, he is also quite aloof. In social situations, he is very thoughtful and can sometimes even forget to respond, since he gets lost in his thoughts.

Even though Tsubaki is generally very calm, he can get frustrated or annoyed at things, too. From training Samurai in the past, who were generally quite young, he found some pet peeves that would annoy him. If someone is argumentative, rude, belligerent, or Conceited, he loses some of his stoic demeanor and often ends up scolding them. He goes about this in a calm fashion, never yelling or raising his voice, but it still annoys him. In general, the lychee furo tries to keep everyone mindful of themselves and prefers peace over all else. When he trained samurai, he would train them to read their own and other people's emotions, as well as stay in control of themselves as to not hurt anyone needlessly. He is very proud of what he has done and wishes to return to it, but for now he runs a tea shop and continues to live in peace.

With his original purpose and creators came mounds of wisdom that he has kept since his creation. Teaching young samurai and being a part of an Order has granted him wisdom.

Temperance

Temperance:

Tsubaki is very temperant, never losing his cool and never yelling. Despite this, he can get annoyed by some select things internally. He generally keeps his negative feelings to himself.

Humanity

Humanity:

Tsbaki is very loving and kind, but he doesn't know what it means, nor what to do with it. His purpose did not grant him the knowledge of how to understand his own feelings, and he can be quite awkward in social situations as he is very thoughtful.

Magic

Magic:

Tsubaki is a very powerful ice magic user, having been imbued with it at creation so that he could protect himself while on quests with the samurai he trained. He has very impressive control over his magic and enjoys using it frequently for mundane tasks. Rarely, he will use it in a defensive way, but that is only in case of emergency.

Story

Creation

Tsubaki was originally created by a group of monks in mountains far from Nievaros. His original purpose was to lead the young Samurai that frequented and protected the village communities of the place he was created. He would tell them stories, teach them morals, and help them through their journeys to becoming guardians in their own villages. Many of the young samurai that came to their mountains didn't have any teachers, so Tsubaki and the monks would take that role until they were old enough and skilled enough to go off on their own, back to their homes. Over a long, peaceful era, he took pride in his purpose, revered by the villages and Samurai alike, but over the course of a few generations, he watched many monks pass of old age. Once the final monk passed, he waited for new humans to come and fill their role, but they never came. With word of the monks passing away, the surrounding villages began to endure longer, harsher winters than ever before and had to decide to migrate elsewhere. With that, Tsubaki was left alone in the temple, waiting for someone to come, but they never did.

Post-Purpose

Once he realized his purpose had been fulfilled, he began to wander in search of more Samurai, to continue fulfilling his purpose, but also picking up on old interests that had been instilled into him along the way. Tsubaki loves wandering and sight-seeing from his time with the Samurai, and loves Tea from his time with the monks, as well as teaching young ones about spirituality. Despite his love for sightseeing, he does get lonely sometimes, so he recently decided to settle down in a small mountain village far from the one he was created in. He decided to open a tea shop, in remembrance of the Monks who created him.

He's seen a lot of places, and always loves discovering new ones. His magic was used to help Samurais grow spiritually and get more in-tune with themselves, nature, and the villages they protected, so even while he owns his Tea shop, he still tries to find ways to teach the humans of the village he resides in the ways that he was once in charge of teaching. Tsubaki also always thought he was the only Furotomo to exist, so he finds it odd to find other Furos and is very interested in them, keeping a close eye on them and jotting down notes about them whenever seen; their traits, personalities, styles, what they seem to represent or what their purpose is. He's a very quiet Furo, preferring not to speak if it isn't necessary, but he communicates well non-verbally if he's able to.

Current Day

Currently, he lives in the same village as the one that Jun and Byakuya live in, running a tea shop. Sometimes, he leaves to sightsee and wander for a while, but he always ends up coming back. He considers the shop his home now, a comforting place to return to when he is tired of travelling. He misses the days of leading Samurai around and scolding them as he taught them the ways of peace and tranquility to aid in their battles and help them make better decisions, and hopes to one day meet another one. Even though his purpose has long passed, he still longs to fit the role he was created for.
