Androcles was born as an only child within his parents home, but was loved fiercely by both of them. And he loved his parents very much. However, as he grew older and gained more friends, his love for his parents was refocused onto a young girl of whom his affections deftly grew. However, try as he might to win her over, she was never one to take much notice of him. So, when her attention was turned upon another man, Androcles often felt his chest tighten in heated jealousy, but knew his affections were not shared. So he turned to his parents and continued to work with them for some time, helping them in their everyday work. He'd assist his father in the carpentry business and he'd help his mother with her housework. It was only when he turned fourteen, however, did he realize that his mother's ability had been made known to him. For it was at this time did he realize that he had power to create crystals and other precious stones with no effort at all.

People were quick to take notice of this, however, with him being rather clumsy in his first few years, and were eager to take advantage of the wealth that could profit from owning some of these precious things. His parents did thier best to shield the populace from their son but it got to the point where it was placing a strain upon his parents, and so he knew of nothing better to do than to isolate himself and move from them. So he took his things and traveled into the mountains, far away from civilization as he knew it, and settled down into an abandoned cabin. He fixed it up nicely and since then he has remained in it, away from the populace. He still does sell some of the jewels he creates but people must travel far to access them, and not many are willing to go that far. So he remains in the woods, away from his home and his family, with only the mountains and the valleys as his friends.
