Ollie's Injuries.

Ollies heterochromia did not not come in naturally , his eyes were originally discolored due to a chemical accident that occured at a school science fair when he was twelve. Chemicals sprayed outside of a tiny beaker while trying to show off the expirimemt that he had worked on with his friend.
It was such a freak accident that the science fair at his school had to include warnings and wavers to parents before their children applied. A large portion of Ollie's vision in his left eye is completely lost. 

Ollie's stitches came from an accident that he had while driving in the same car as his parents. Ollie is usally the bringer of bad luck in his family. Always a bringer of accidental injuries and accidents. So it was no suprise that his parents would be nervous when his time to start driving would come to be. 

Ollie lasted not even half an hour without  getting into a what would be fatal accident with his parents. Ollie side-swerved off the road into a ditch after attempting to dodge a dog that was attempting to cross the road. The car tumbled 7 times until hitting the end of the hill, reaching the ditch. 

Everyone survived but unfortunately not without major injuries. After the incident he and his parents were hospitalized for a while. Ollie, being small, did not suffer as terribly as his mother and father who suffered many fractures across their body.  Ollie was sent to Fayden's camp to see if Ollie's bad luck was coincidental, or if something else was causing it.

No matter what, Ollie's parents will always love him, no matter how clumsy he is. Poor guy.

The Costume.

When Ollie turned 15, his parents pushed him to get an entry level job to start making money. A local pizza place nearby was offering positions as either a cashier or a mascot person to attract people into the store and to be used for advertisements on TV. 

This place is called Checker's Pizza! A small, independent pizza place inside Ollie's small hometown. Theres only one Checker's Pizza since the business only just started around 12 years ago, and isn't comepletely public yet.

Nobody else that took positions at  Checker's Pizza wanted to wear the suit, its extremely hot outside and without proper hydration could cause a heat stroke. Another reason why nobody wants to wear the mascot attire is that well, its an animal. Highschoolers in Ollie's area looking for jobs always take cashier over mascot costume because its considered 'weird' to want to wear an animal costume. Wearing a mascot costume in general is grounds for bullying. 

Ollie, being the weirdo he is, absolutely loved this idea! He took the position as soon as he could. Checker, the mascot, is a killer cool siamese cat that "just wants to give pizza to the teens who need it, yo!"

Ollie loves this character, and despite his lacking social skills he plays the character extremely well! His entire demeanor changes and he... Well, I don't wanna be mean but he actually becomes likeable. Without Checker, Ollie would be completely dull in personality. The people who live in Ollie's town actually love the way that Checker is performed. A silent cat who just hands out pizza smiling. A small pizza place with a beloved mascot. Whenever Ollie puts on the suit he actually feels like someone.

Ollie likes wearing the suit outside of work hours. It takes away the fear of people seeing his face, or worrying about saying something weird. Checker the cat doesn't speak at all! So why would Ollie ever need to? People will just come by and take photo's with Checker, give him a fist bump, or even have a one sided conversation with him. So beloved in tne town that Ollie can wear the suit outside of ours and nobody even cares. Its just a small town thing, I guess. 

This brought Checker's Pizza a whole lot of business. Checker the cat became the mascot of the small town he was living in. I mean, the pizza is mediocre but the mascot is cool and chill so you should totally go there, dude!

Nobody knows that its Ollie thats potraying the character. And I'm sure that if anyone did people would appriciate Ollie a little bit more. It wouldn't change a lot.
