When Mysterio was a kittypet, he wandered into the forest to join the legendary clan cats. He encountered a patrol; the leader of the group thought Mysterio would steal their prey so they attacked. Taking pity on the weak feline, they let him go. Mysterio swore to never forget this and to make them pay for the humiliation...and for breaking his monocle and smooshing his tophat.
