Blink Blink

Blink Blink, or BB, is sweet, mild, and endearing, but painfully dumb, and scared very easily. He tends to lack common sense or reason, and usually ends up being the bad guy because of it, though he truly doesn't mean to. Despite being a genuinely nice guy, he can be very vain, and once trouble is stirred, it's every man for himself. His eyes have many special qualities, one of which is his ability to read others like books. He can also set things ablaze with his stare, but only inanimate objects, and only when he has full concentration. He has his demonic heritage to thank for these abilities. He has many other abilities as well, but most are rather mundane, such as always being able to remember where he left a book, or his keys. What's with the eye goo? Well, you see, when two animals love each other VERY much, they get together to make babies. Unfortunately, Blink Blink's parents were two animals that don't go together. BB is the bastard son of a dog, and a rabbit demon. As a result of the strange, and completely implausible pairing, BB does have some birth defects. Among these birth defects, the most notable is probably his constantly leaking eyes. The thick black 'tears' that ceaselessly drip from his eyes are similar to the eye leaks most dog breeds have, but unlike common leaky eyes, these 'tears' are composed entirely of tar, and cause a great deal of pain. The tar is the main reason for BB's bad vision, and they sting like hell, which is why he's almost always squinting, but this is why he can set fire to things with his eyes.
