Personality:

Not entirely unexpected, Dynasty is subject to a god complex: often believing that the laws of the universe hardly, if ever, apply to her, though it's not as serious as it was 17 years ago. This extends into her overconfidence in her abilities: despite the very real possibility of dying, she never seems to believe she will meet death on their terms. Though she can be a bit callous at times due to a lack of empathy, she can also be rather generous, and rarely, if ever, will turn down a genuine plea for help.  Beware her anger, for it is as burning and harsh as the stars she reigns over- and while her grudges may be forgiven, they are never forgotten. Of course, she tries, often in vain, to forget her own past discretions save for positive experiences, evident in the lavishing stories she tells her children, Sione and Zein.

Strengths/Weaknesses:

  • Being immortal has its perks: Dynasty cannot die by old age or conventional illnesses. She is also more resilient than a mortal, but being fallen, can still die by various means such as decapitation, ripping her heart out, or any severe methods like that.
  • Dynasty has ichor for blood; a dull golden color and toxic to mortals in large doses. It is, however, weakened by being exiled, therefore only large amounts can really do any damage.
  • Though not the best fighter by any means, Dynasty fares better in long distance fighting as opposed to hand to hand; using the remnants of stars to fight is much more effective for her than trying to beat down anyone the old-fashioned way, although if you study her moves long enough, she becomes fairly predictable.
  • She has difficulty empathizing with others, so long has she been out of touch with humanity. As such, she can come aross as harsh without necessarily meaning to, and has trouble forming connections with others. Cultural norms are also largely unfamiliar to her; she's only just grasping some of Elusion's, and technology is beyond her comprehension past the basics.

Likes/Dislikes:

  • Literally no one is surprised by the fact that she likes space. A lot. It'd be kinda weird if she didn't tbh.
  • Traveling is something she enjoys greatly, although this is slightly more difficult for her now. She enjoys seeing other planets and places: even if she's seen most of them before, it makes her feel less like she's trapped on one planet and will sporadically disappear for a few days to other places.
  • Windowless rooms make her uneasy: Anything that makes it impossible for her to see the sky, actually. She is used to vast spaces and always likes seeing her affinity, in any case.
  • Dynasty doesn't do well around authority... Mostly just authority over her: she has no issues with it as a whole. She just feels that she should be the law or outside of it, being a (former) deity and all. It's unbecoming for her to be anything else. As such, she has problems with being told what to do. Being asked is a whole other story, however.
  • Hatred encompasses all her thoughts towards her former pantheon; she would rather die than rejoin. There's a special swath of loathing in particular for the prosperity goddess Lunasa. Snark and vicious remarks are often exchanged between the two whenever they're in the same vicinity.
  • Surprisingly, Dynasty hates rabbits: almost solely because Lunasa loved them so much, they're a symbol for her. Also, they smell.

Quotes:

"There's usually someone around the house if you're having trouble with anything- but if for some reason that isn't possible, seek me out and I'll help you."

"So long as you don't terrorize the house or its residents, I believe you're welcome to remain a guest."

"I. Am. No. Traitor."

History:

(x) Pre-Fall:
Thousands of years of history that, for the most part, will never be known. Dynasty's not one to dwell in the past and as such very few people know much about her past prior to her exile at all. All that is known is that something horrendous happened that caused her to become exiled to Elusion and strip her of most of her powers.

(x) The "GalaxyVoid" Era:
.: 17 years ago, Dynasty found herself on Elusion, crashlanded conveniently close to the Riverhouse. It was here she was sentenced to exile, designated to protect any and all shifters from the threats of the rest of the world while keeping her true self a secret. Shortly after her arrival, a disease called Luna Felis infects a number of shifters, which can be transferred via a bite or scratch. The disease is said to fill the infected with bloodlust and an untameable rage. One shifter, Visaya, manages to infect Dynasty. With several shifters, including herself, infected, a fight breaks out, resulting in many injuries and bad blood between them. Dynasty receives the electrical scar on her back from Nameless' P.E.G after she destroyed his swords, and interference from another god named Lunasa ceased her involvement in the fight. Everything soon settled, however, and the shifters seemed to have gotten over their previous spats.
Then, the Nightstalkers appeared,  a malicious group disguised as an energy company that is hellbent on harnessing the powers of shapeshifters by any means necessary. This eventually leads to the capture of one of the shifters, Tala. At the request of a mysterious man named Axel, Dynasty ventures to their base incognito in case the negotiation goes awry. The negotiation ends up with Axel being taken into custody, a breed called the Nanaki resurfacing, and a vicious brawl within the base. Dynasty manages to keep the head of the Nightstalkers at bay, Tala is found and set free, and after a raging fire and many cuts and bruises the three manage to escape and head back to the Riverhouse. The Nightstalkers regroup and form an attack on the shifters' residence: trying to eliminate the nuisances at the source. The boss, however, finds Dynasty and offers a proposal- the Nightstalkers will cease their attack and spare the shifters if she came into their custody. Against her better judgment, she accepts. Unbeknownst to her, they had another shifter- Ban- captured from the brawl. Also unknown to her, the shifters plan a jailbreak to bust the both of them out: but they were held on separate floors, with Dynasty much further up than Ban. The shifters were barely able to reach Ban, and had to evacuate the building before they all became captured. Dynasty saw the retreat as an act of betrayal, and between her stubbornness and the Nightstalkers' brainwashing, became an enemy of the shifters.

(x) The "Rev Realm" Era
.: 7 years pass with Dynasty still at the NightStalkers. Though she never did much actual damage to the shifters, her brutality towards them began to wane over time, much to her frustration and confusion. It would return in vicious flares, but never long enough for her to plot. After a while, she was often seen lingering in the outskirts of the forest that lined the Riverhouse, as if passing judgment. Uncertainty still lingering, she eventually confronts the shifters and is convinced to try living in the Riverhouse once more by Nameless. The transition is rocky and the shifters who remembered her were wary of her, but eventually life moved on and things seemed to return to what the shifters considered normalcy. Soon after, Ban returns to the shifter house, brainwashed by the Nightstalkers to destroy the shifters now that she left them. It results in a full-out brawl between him and Dynasty and, after both receiving quite a few wounds, strangely convenient amnesia on both their parts. Dynasty wakes up not remembering anything of her time on Elusion: she knows not where she is, why she's there, or who these strange mortals are. Over time it wanes, just a result of a head injury- and with her rememberings comes guilt and confusion about how she acted over the past years, especially after news that the Nightstalkers HQ blew up and the organization disbanded. Amidst all of this, she starts developing feelings for Nameless.

(x) Time-Skip:
.: Ten years pass with Dynasty trying to live out a quiet life, just as her pantheon had wanted, in the hopes that might appease them and help her reobtain her powers. She and Nameless get married, they even have two kids together: a pair of twins, Sione & Zein. She protects the Riverhouse with her life, she lives as peacefully as she can. No sign from the gods who placed her on Elusion to begin with. After year ten, her patience starts to wane...

(x) Now:
.: Currently lives in the Riverhouse, is trying to both re-obtain her powers and find a boon of immortality.
.: Finds Dalton in a mess after regaining his eye; Dynasty agrees to help him, as well.
