Zenith
[ About ]
The personification of the bones of a dead rabbit, Zenith is an overall quiet character of few words who haunts an abandoned animal hospital and the grounds it sits on. He doesn’t do well with humans, and if any come by his haunting location he usually keeps his distance or watches from afar. However, if they start to disrespect the grounds it will anger him to the point that he’ll cause paranormal activity to scare them away. Sometimes, if he feels like “playing along” he’ll appear and disappear to them as a means to freak them out. Sometimes he’ll even nick them with his knife but that's the most he'll do.
He tends to come off as disinterested or cold but he warms up to others eventually, having made "friends" with fellow phenos (he won't use the word friend but thats what they are). He still likes his space though and too much social interaction tires him out as he's not the best with emotions or social cues.

[ Story & Trivia ]
Being a personification of the bones of a dead rabbit rather than the spirit of someone who died, Zenith doesn’t have a former “human” life, which leads to some of his troubles understanding people and emotions. His actions are more instinct based than feeling based so it takes time for him to learn and understand more complex human emotions that he over time starts to experience. He has a soft spot towards animals, but takes a while for him to understand that what he feels towards them is care.
Since he doesn’t act on feelings alone, Zenith is very logical and anything involving strategy or critical thinking is his strong point. He enjoys games as he’s very competitive and can easily get carried away in the heat of competition.
- Food doesn't interest him much, but he likes carrot cake.
- He wears the eyepatch for an unknown reason, he's secretive about it. The bandages too, although it's assumed it's from the cuts he gets from stray branches or bushes.
- Has a better sense of smell and hearing than most.
- He had a past relationship with Aiden, a fellow phenomata. However it was mostly an attempt on Zenith's part to undertand a deeper sense of love and connection, and when he still didn't understand he broke it off.

[Friend]
A tired pheno who just wants to sleep but also is clingly with friends. He befriends Zenith after stumbling on his haunting grounds and follows him around, talking Zenith's ear off. Xavier finds Zenith interesting and just likes to be around him even when Zenith tells Xavier to leave him alone, but Xavier takes it endearingly and stays anyway. He sees Zenith as a friend and will teasingly say "This is why you have no friends."
[Ex-Partner]
A hopelessly lovesick romantic, Aiden is a rather eccentric phenomata who can't help falling for everyone they see. They have a bit of history with Zenith as his ex-partner, but while Zenith broke it off Aiden is still very attached and entertains the thought of getting back with him. He often comes around looking for Zenith, seeing any interaction they have as "hope they'll get back together."
