Amaryllis ✦

Amaryllis came from a hidden village of flower demons, a special demon race with flower related powers, who lived together within a lush meadow in the land of Olrichula. She was born and raised by her two biological father's, Daffodil and Daylily, who were well known fighters amongst their people. Naturally they believed their only daughter to hold the same capabilities thanks to their genes, maybe even better.  So they often gave Amaryllis fighting lessons with her childhood friend, Lavandula, as her sparing partner.

When they were around 13 years old, shadow monsters invaded Olrichula without warning, forcing the race to go into hiding after their village had been discovered. While escaping with her parents, Amaryllis saw Lavandula fighting back against the monsters. She pleaded to her fathers for the three of them to do the same, but the parents refused due to being outnumbered and having their daughter's safety as their top priority. They rushed Amaryllis to safety with the rest of their people.

Amaryllis never knew if her friend had survived, having taken refuge with the remaining villagers in a designated hideaway. Villagers assumed he was taken by the shadows, with him and the rest of the loved ones left behind to never be seen again. But Lavandula's family and Amaryllis kept hope in that he had fought enough to survive. In honor of his bravery, Amaryllis, her dad's, and Lavandula's family offered lessons in using their flower powers in combat, just like Lavandula did against the shadows. 

Over the years Amaryllis helped some villagers improved their combat skills and flower powers, with herself rising among the top fighters (much to the pride of her dad's), and wielding nothing but her powerful voice and elegant dance moves to aid her. She hoped that someday all their efforts would finally be enough to fight back against the ruling shadows. But for now they fought to prevent their secret base from being discovered by the shadows.

Five years after the shadow invasion of Olrichula, Lavandula resurfaces, now a strong man with the new power to travel anywhere using doors of light (It's suspected the power was a gift from a warrior who's said to have saved/trained him 5 years ago from the shadows). With the help of the Olrichula’s leaders, he vanquished the shadow guardian that blocked the world’s Heaven’s Gate, and opened it to allow the Creator to finally take action. With the Creator’s influence over the world once again, the land was cleansed of the dark creatures and peace was restored. This allowed the flower demons to come out of hiding after all these years, and Lavandula reunited with his people and friends/family. A celebration was held that night in honor of his victory and the return of the flower demons.

The next day Lavandula spent time with his family and then individually with his friends before saying his goodbyes, explaining how he was embarking on a journey across worlds on behalf of the Creator. The first friend he spent time with was Amaryllis, at the special place they had spent their childhood training their flower powers together. They reminisced old times, caught up on what they had been up to over the past few years, discussed what they'd learned with their powers, spared like old times, and even shared a romantic moment together. The two reunited friends promised to meet again, with Amaryllis hoping to join Lavandula on his journeys soon. 

After he set off, Amaryllis was motivated more than ever by Lavandula's experience to improve her own skills. To which she'd first use to help her village rebuild their once lost home.
