Midnight Black is the second oldest Diamond in Teal's Authority, behind only Teal herself. Unlike the others, he's the actual biological child of Teal & Blood Grey Diamond. (which is why she likes him more than anyone else)
Wine Red Diamond has the power of mind control. Wanting to break up Midnight Black and Pink Diamond, he used his power to make Midnight Black attack Pink- resulting in Pink being blinded. Since Midnight is known to be violent, no one believed that it wasn't his fault. Pink forgives him, mostly, but they still broke up for his safety.
Grey Diamond was created by Portal Diamond, but exiled and later taken in by Teal. Grey instantly disliked Midnight Black, eventually leading to a fight wherein Midnight Black nearly shattered him- Teal interrupted just in time, and ended the fight by decapitating Midnight.
(... yeah, that didn't help their relationship XD)
This character was made in 2021.
He looks a lot like Black Moon Diamond, who unintentionally became his first cousin once removed as lore was added.
