Vinnie's fist pokemon and, without a doubt, her very best friend. Watson is a lover of mystery and takes great pleasure in solving them. Often plays the bad cop to Vinnie's good cop; he acts as a motivator and constantly forces Vinnie to push through situations she'd rather avoid. He's courageous, despite just being a literal ball of feathers, and a natural born leader. That said he's also terribly bossy, having a bit of a temper when things don't pan out the way he envisions. Watson is terribly protective of Vinnie, if not a little selfish in wanting all of her attention all of the time. 

#188 SKIPLOOM ♀ (POPPY) | HASTY NATURE | LEAF GUARD ABILITY

When Vinnie first met Poppy, she was but a wee, feisty Hoppip. This little flower has always been of the "act first, think later" mentality. She's sassy and quick to act, sometimes even against the wishes of her trainer. Poppy is an explorer at heart, willing to dive head first into new scenarios without a second thought or hint of fear. She's exceedingly affectionate, with friends and strangers alike, and absolutely can not take a hint. She will snuggle you like it or not, Poppy don't give a single heck. 

#148 DRAGONAIR ♀ (OPHELIA/"OPIE") | SERIOUS NATURE | SHED SKIN ABILITY

Hello, Children, It's Mom™. Opie originally belong to Vinnie's sister, who, upon being introduced to little miss. detective, clung to her like glue. She's without a doubt the strongest member of Vin's team, and certainly the most well-refined. Elegant, stoic and unwelcoming of strangers-- at first glance, Opie might come off as a frigid ice queen. But to the team? To Vinnie? She is a doting, devoted creature that will wrap herself around her trainer and hiss at anyone that looks even remotely unsavory. Opie is constantly wary of new people, and will go out of her way to ensure the protection of Vinnie and her teammates. 

#063 ABRA ♂ (HOUDINI/"HUD") | QUIET NATURE | SYNCHRONIZE ABILITY

Vinnie met little Houdini just outside Goldenrod. The victim of Team Rocket's shenanigans, Vinnie stopped the villains as they attempted to catch the little guy and has since befriended him. Hud is quiet as a mouse, and tends to be pretty shy. Easily spooked, generally pretty meek, he prefers not to fight but will if necessary. His gut reaction to things when frightened is to just teleport back into his pokeball. He's stubborn, and it takes a good deal of time for him to come around to strangers. He is, however, a gluttonous little baby and warms up pretty fast when offered berries of any kind.

#093 HAUNTER ♂ (GEIST) | NAUGHTY NATURE | LEVITATE ABILITY

Geist met Vinnie on the basement floor of the Goldenrod Department Store, where he had been taken up "haunting". Workers had been reported being too scared to continue their construction with the buzz of spooky ghosts being whispered here, there and everywhere. Vinnie, ever skeptical and thirsty for mystery, offered to figure out the root the store's problem. Come to find out, their problem was little more than an extremely mischievous Haunter. Geist is chaotic good at best-- he thrills in creeping other people out, and strives to be The Spookiest Boy Alive. Loves Vinnie a whole lot, but also loves freaking her out (which he absolutely can, much to the chagrin of his trainer). However, if anyone or thing has the audacity to step in on his scary turf? If they feel they can come into his house and spook his trainer? You better be ready to catch some ghostly hands, my friend. 

#217 URSARING ♀ (ROSLYN) | RELAXED NATURE | GUTS ABILITY

Aloof and generally disinterested, Ros could have been team mom if she gave more of a shit. But she doesn't. So don't bug her. Would rather sunbathe than battle, but she will if she's put on the spot. Absolute powerhouse, lives for praise despite greatly downplaying her interest. Met an extremely panicked Vinnie in a dark cave when the trainer literally ran into her.  Ros hadn't really planned on doing anything in retaliation, but Vin frantically threw like seventeen great balls at once and the pokemon just accepted this new fresh fate.
