Sablepaw, apprenticed to Curltuft, a odd sort of cat who causes her apprentice a lot of distress, is just a normal cat who wants to make her clanmates proud. unfortunately her mentor doesn’t seem to have that in mind for her. Sablepaw has a lot of jealousy for the other windclan apprentices, she doesn’t understand why they get normal mentors who don’t make them dispose of dead bodies in the middle of the night, or fight them with their claws unsheathed during battle training. She’s very mentally strong but Curltuft is really wearing that strength down.

Sablepaw was born in windclan as an only child to her mother, Rabbitfeather. She never met nor learned who her father was but nonetheless she harbors a resentment for the unknown tom for never stepping up and helping her mother raise her. Rabbitfeather met her demise to a wild horse. While on patrol Sablepaw found her mother’s body that had been trampled and mutilated. she rather quickly became terrified of horses because they remind her of that day.
