Once upon a time, there was a wealthy snezhnayan family, a rich ambassador, her husband, and her twin sons. One of them grew valiant and kind, became the pride of the family, the other, proud and deceitful, quickly felt in shadows. But the twins remained welded, as they were one. “Nothing could break their friendship”, people said and rarely one would be seen without the other. They were children, and they had a life ahead, a bright future for who would grasp it.
The kind and generous soul was appreciated, he had friends and fame, worked hard to achieve his dreams. His greedy and arrogant brother did not gain people’s heart, for no one could trust him nor would he return them any favour. While people would turn their back and despise him, he closed his own heart, undertaking he would never let anyone reach it and vowing one day they would have no choice but to look up to him. He grew jalous and envious of his brother's success, and started plotting his long-time revenge.
By hard and fair labor, the kind soul became ambassador, as his mother was. He was presented a maiden to be his wife, and though love was not the reason of their bond, he promised he'd try, at least offer her the best life he could. He wish so hard he could, praying days and nights for her well, he ended up being granted a Cryo Vision. His twin soul was blessed as well by his prayers and his brotherly love, and received just the same. It came as a surprise, but each of them promised they would change the world with it, for the greater or the worse.
The fair brother soon reached the top, had everything an honest man could wish, helped by his twin, they shared every moment, every part of his life. The sly brother had dedicated his own life to his brother success and fame, knew everything about him, till the day he disapeared. The fair brother was not worried at first, but decided to send a party to search for him in the mountain. They annonced his death the day later, his body pierced by icicles, as he surely felt to his end in the cold Snezhnayan heights. He was not the favorite, but everyone shedded a tear, everyone but the fair brother who smiled when he was left alone.
The good brother changed slowly, people said he was affected by his twin's lose, he made some mistakes and seemed aloof and forgetful for days, but he recovered at last, and continued to rise, as he would do before, his nice and enchanting personality granting him favours from anyone. Only the most intimates would realize how vain he'd truely become. Bit by bit, he showed so much devotion to the Fatui's cause it could not remain disregarded, and they offered him a Delusion, he gladly accepted. He became more and more secretive, behind a mask of good intentions.
The last brother and the maiden married, but she never was happy as the good brother once wished for. On a frozen night, she disapeared, vanishing with secrets in mind she was not supposed to know and the ambassador could never find her again. He could not let her go with the truth, and had no choice but to track her down toward Teyvvat, so the secrets stay buried as they should...
