Othello is a short, plump man with a large bust and wide hips, giving him a soft hourglass figure. His midsection is quite pudgy, with loose, saggy skin. His complexion is notably light with a pink undertone and is covered in many moles and freckles. He has many stretchmarks and scars across his body, his scars being focused upon his hands and knees as he is quite the clumsy person.
His eyes are dark and hazel in color and very pink lips, which he has the habit of chewing on.
Othello’s brown and grey hair is very messy and curly, having no distinct style to it. It runs down to roughly his shoulders and is parted to the right side of his head/face.
Othello likes to dress with a mix of both professional, academia-centric clothing and casual attire, mixing fun patterns and sweaters with slacks and collared shirts. In the summers or days where he isn’t teaching he likes to wear a patterned button up with a pair of mom jeans or high-waisted shorts. He’s also fond of gender non-conforming clothing, having a few skirts and dresses that he generally only wears when at home. He mostly dresses in fall colors, but is open to any palette or pattern.
He is extremely farsighted, and as a result wears square, thick-framed tortoiseshell glasses.

Othello is a very expressive and cheery person! He’s also very social and loves to go out and meet new people. He doesn’t really know how to shut up or know when people are annoyed with him, but he’s always having a good time no matter what. He’s very smart and educated on a myriad of subjects, but when it comes to understanding other people and reading social cues he tends to fall flat on his face.
Due to his ADHD and autism combined with his upbringing he tends to be a bit of a people-pleaser and struggles with expressing himself when put on the spot in certain situations. He can be an empathetic person and often cares just a little too much about other people.

Othello was born in Inistioge, Ireland, in 1960, with a younger sister being born three years after him. Being the eldest daughter—and oldest child, for that matter, placed a lot of pressure on him at a young age, and he quickly dipped below his parents’ standards. As a result his parents began showing heavy favoritism toward his sister, Shannon, all the while emotionally neglecting their son.
The summer between primary and secondary school, his parents would make the decision to move to a farm located in a very rural area in Michigan, United States. Once school resumed in the fall, a pecking order quickly established itself amongst the student body and Othello became a target for bullying. The constant harassment from his peers combined with the neglect from his parents drove him further into his studies, becoming a social recluse.
In high school he would be recognized for his efforts and would receive a scholarship from a college out of state, and he quickly jumped at the opportunity. He would begin further his studies into the sciences, earning a Ph. D. in biological sciences. From there he would be hired as a teaching assistant and science tutor at another nearby college. There he would meet his significant other, William.
After a few years of dating, he and William would choose to move back to Michigan, where William would resume teaching English and philosophy and Othello would be hired as a full-time professor of biology and psychology.
SECTION FIVE 🐌 . TRIVIA 🐌 . ･*˚⁺‧͙ 🌲.◞
🌲 He loves gardening! He grows a lot of his own produce and cares for native plant life.
🌲 Wants to get into foraging.
🌲 He loves the holidays and goes all out for celebrating them, Halloween especially.
🌲 Is no-contact with his parents and has minimal contact with his sister. He wouldn’t mind repairing his relationship with her, but her still being in contact with their parents is a bit of a deal-breaker.
