Story
Reza was born as the daughter of a rich and famous merchant in the town of Damascus, Syria.
Due to her mother's early death and the fact, that she was the only girl in the family, she soon started to care for herself and to go her own way. Her father and brothers don't care a lot for her, but until his death, her uncle Al Sayd, who was the only one Reza really trusted to, taught her to fight and how to deal with weapons, even though it was against her fathers will, who wanted her to be a normal, submissive woman as it's right and proper.
After her uncle's death she started feeling lonely and began using her skills to fill orders of shady people in Damascus. Therefore she also called herself 'Reza', also for the people to mistake her for a man.
When she's on a special mission in Damascus, she's attacked by the assassin Ardalan, who was sent to kill her due to her connection with the conspiratorial blacketeer Mazar-e Sharif, whose true identity wasn't obvious to Reza until this moment. After loosing the fight against Ardalan she learns about the truth and is spared by him because she didn‘t know that Mazar-e Sharif worked for the templars all the time.
When she's trying to kill Sharif by herself, she get's caught by his minions and later gets saved by some assassins, also Ardalan, who're also successful with killing the blacketeer.
From this moment, her and Ardalan‘s fates start to cross again and again and even though she first claims she despises the rough, young man she can't help to admit that there's the feeling of being very attracted to him.
After Ardalan fails at killing an important man on a special event in Jerusalem and nearly gets killed and is seriously injured, she follows him and helps him, therefore from this moment on she's also treated like an assassin and hunted by the soldiers.
At this point Reza and Ardalan realize that that it‘s love which connects them and they continue their life together, also to find out that both of them have been deceived by their so believed friends.
Later she continues her life with Ardalan as her husband and will also be the mother of his three sons.
