Luke

A star quarterback that appears perfect on the surface but underneath he's struggling to deal with the pressures of being popular and talented while resisting his craving for blood.... cause he's a vampire. 

Luke was always an upbeat, happy person. The first to make friends with people, he's a charming and considerate individual and will go out of his way to be friendly or helpful. There are times, though, he can be blinded by his need to see the best in people, even despite the facts saying otherwise. He's also very smart but he tends to hide his intelligence from most people due to other people's expectations of him. Raised in a strict household that put great importance on performance and superficial merits (athletic achievements, appearances, etc) more than anything else, he used to worry a lot about appearances. Only recently, since moving away from his parents, has he relaxed a lot more about how people view him and vise versa. Due to his naturally competitive nature, his parents' wealth, and his athleticism, Luke has always feels like he has to be better than everyone and can become rather insecure and anxious if people do better than him or if he fails at something.

His parents are a renowned surgeon and a retired hall of fame foot ball quarterback and because of this he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and a mountain of expectations and responsibility on his shoulders. His parents, his father especially, gave him no room to make mistakes and punished him severely if he did something they disapproved of "blemished" their all perfect American family image. Luke spent most of his childhood and teen years focused on his studies and sports, eventually settling into the star quarterback role in high school. Around school Luke was known for being kind if "dim witted" when in reality he didn't want the attention and scorn being intelligent would have gotten him so he played dumb most of the time. He also didn't like participating in the cruel games that his "friends" played on the other uncool students but was usually forced into it. He very much regrets his participation in his friends bullying and in college goes out of his way to not do it even preventing it at times. One of his former classmates in particular, he regretted bullying and goes out of his way to befriend her later on

He loves photography. He hates the taste of blood so he'll often mix it with normal drinks like Slurpees or milkshakes. He appears wholesome and PG but in reality he's a dirty booooi cause he's into some kinky stuff. He has very "girly" handwriting. He's a bit of a masochist. If he was in a Harry Potter AU, he'd totally be sorted into Hufflepuff. He's smart and kind and very patient.
