skekUyo came to exist purely out of skekTek's scientific curiosity to see if the skeksis can have offspring asexually and or with the help of the Crystal. Corrupted from the very beginning, skekUyo suffers from a plethora of symptoms, those including partial blindness, extreme sensitivity to light and dry air, respiratory problems and translucent skin that gets bruised easily. Despite the corruption, skekUyo is a very sweet person - a bit shy at times - and doesn't share any of the other skeksis' malice or bloodlust. Her creators, especially skekNa, give her a pass, saying that she'll come to her senses eventually.
