A peculiar character, he chooses to speak in as little words as possible. The sentences he does choose to form are straightforward and to the point, speaking in a somewhat blunt manner. People find his mannerisms strange and a little bit scary however, as he is often seen just wandering around Inkopolis, staring at people and things with a blank expression on his face. He comes off as a very distant and mysterious (maybe even dangerous) person, but he’s just a harmless little weirdo for the most part. He has a hard time picking up on social cues which leads to awkward interactions that he doesn't even know are awkward for the other person.
APPEARANCE
He is on the shorter side being 4’11, and is quite slim on top of that. His face is completely round with a button nose and booby eyes. His mouth is…..very small. His hair is either jet black or a dark variant of whatever color. For his wardrobe, his default outfit is the uniform worn by test subjects from the deep sea metro. But besides that, Sterling actually has a fairly large array of outfits, as he really enjoys fashion. He likes to wear slick and weird looking clothing and big coats(the more pockets the better). He also enjoys wearing skirts. His favorite colors are black, white and grey.

Sterling. top of his ranks and second hand man to the commander of his troop. His reaction and quick thinking skills are incredible and his physical strength exceeds average octoling soldiers. He is able to perform any task asked of him and does so with flying colors. Although especially talented in his field, he seems to have no will of his own and is incapable of stepping into a leadership position. Currently missing.

Honestly, what's up with this guy anyway? He just appeared out of nowhere one day and he’s been roaming around the city ever since. Nobody really knows what his deal is and honestly it's almost like he doesn’t even know himself. Recently though it seems like he’s finally found a click to hang with, that new underground band everybodys been talking about (Don’t really remember the name, not my type of music). He seemed to take quite the liking to their drummer, I think the kids name is Jonas? Kinda weird though, not the type of people you'd expect that guy to be chilling with. - He tends to copy some of Jonas's speech patterns when they hang out (he says “dude” and “bro” sometimes and it gives people whiplash)
- Sterling was homeless and before him and Jonas were acquainted he used to just sleep outside on the streets wherever. Now Sterling tends to crash on Jonas's couch
