Armed with a makeup kit and fabulous sparkly costume (complete with wig), Mas is easily able to take on the appearance of another, equally fantastic elf. He's happy to the do the same for others as well. This is very Hannah Montana, and he should not be trusted with anything outside the realm of regular makeup and costume wear.

Ocarina (& Dance)

Mas is a performer at heart and previous to this, was an entertainer. He can very skillfully play an ocarina; a common instrument among his folk. He's confident in his abilities and is eager to find an opportunity to play music for others, and with others.

Lightning Lure (1A-15ft-V)
You create a lash of lightning energy that strikes at one creature of your choice that you can see within 15 feet of you. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pulled up to 10 feet in a straight line toward you and then take 2d8 lightning damage if it is within 5 feet of you. *Mas loves this shit, it compliments the spells his druid friend, Barbados' spells very well.
Toll the Dead (1A-60ft-VS)
You point at one creature you can see within range, and the sound of a dolorous bell fills the air around it for a moment. The target must succeed on a WISDOM saving throw or take 2d8 necrotic damage. If the target is missing any of its hit points, it instead takes 2d12 necrotic damage.
Word of Radiance (1A-5ft-VM)
You utter a divine word, and burning radiance erupts from you. Each creature of your choice that you can see within range must succeed on a CONSTITUTION saving throw or take 2d6 radiant damage.
Ray of Sickness (1A-60ft-VS)
A ray of sickening greenish energy lashes out toward a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 4d8 (3rd lvl) poison damage and must make a CONSTITUTION saving throw. On a failed save, it is also poisoned until the end of your next turn. *Mas basically never uses this spell, it's merely there as an emergency option.
Magic Stone - For Slingshot (1B-T-VS)
You touch one to three pebbles and imbue them with magic. You or someone else can make a ranged spell attack with one of the pebbles by throwing it or hurling it with a sling. If thrown, it has a range of 60 feet. If someone else attacks with the pebble, that attacker adds your spellcasting ability modifier, not the attacker’s, to the attack roll. On a hit, the target takes bludgeoning damage equal to 1d6+6. Hit or miss, the spell then ends on the stone.

If you cast this spell again, the spell ends early on any pebbles still affected by it.

Dranjan Ocarina

A handpainted, beautiful--if small--clay ocarina. It's colorful and happy looking, with a flower sprawling across it. Mas has owned this ocarina for quite a few years. It was made by a family member of his.

Taipan the Necklace

Taipan; once a powerful lich, now cursed into a choker. The choker itself looks like a black snake that curls around Mas' neck. The necklace can move; it is alive in some sense. It slowly, subtly, shifts their tail and head. Taipan can not move quickly. This necklace is ALWAYS around Mas' neck. If ever asked, Mas would refuse to take them off.

Taipan's Arcane Glove

A thick leather fingerless glove. Worn in quality. It covers the first knuckles of the fingers with a leather marked with strange arcane symbols that Mas can't tell you a lick about. Mas wears the glove, but more often relies on his compenent pouch for his magical needs.

Taipan's Tome

A thick spellbook that is mostly blank. It's refilling itself, little by little, as Mas and Taipan gain more power together. Mas refers to this book whenever he ritual casts anything. The book is magical itself, able to disappear with the flick of a hand, and resummoned even if destroyed. While impervious to permanent harm, it is also a precious treasure to Mas, and one he tries to keep safe.

FEYSTEP (1B-30ft-DC14)
As a bonus action, you can magically teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. Once you use this trait, you can't do so again until you finish a short or long rest. When you reach 3rd level, your Fey Step gains an additional effect based on your season; if the effect requires a saving throw, the DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier. The effects are as follows:

AUTUMN: Immediately after you use your Fey Step, up to two creatures of your choice that you can see within 10 feet of you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by you for 1 minute, or until you or your companions deal any damage to it. *Mas neutral Eladrin form.

WINTER: When you use your Fey Step, one creature of your choice that you can see within 5 feet of you before you teleport must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you until the end of your next turn. *Mas' least common self; he usually needs to be intentionally made to be a Winter by outside forces.

SPRING: When you use your Fey Step, you can touch one willing creature within 5 feet of you. That creature then teleports instead of you, appearing in an unoccupied space of your choice that you can see within 30 feet of you. *Mas' second most common self.

SUMMER: Immediately after you use your Fey Step, each creature of your choice that you can see within 5 feet of you takes fire damage equal to your Charisma modifier (3).

Invocations (3)
Mas' Invocations are Book of Ancient Secrets (extra cantrips/rituals), Armor of Shadows (Mage Armor at will, whenever), and Sign of Ill Omen (cast Bestow Curse once per long rest, using a spell slot). Ill Omen will be replaced by Sculptor of Flesh (polymorph once per day, using a spell slot) once Mas reaches 7th level.
Fey Ancestry + Trance Sleep + Darkvision
You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put you to sleep.

Elves have a meditative "trance" opposed to sleeping, lasting 4 hours. *Mas usually spends the other 4 hours braiding his hair or playing around in camp (ex, once he made as many snowmen as he could before his friends woke up).

Among the Dead
Undead have difficulty harming you. If an undead targets you directly with an attack or a harmful spell, that creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC (an undead needn't make the save when it includes you in an area effect, such as the explosion of Fireball). On a failed save, the creature must choose a new target or forfeit targeting someone instead of you, potentially wasting the attack or spell. On a successful save, the creature is immune to this effect for 24 hours. An undead is also immune to this effect for 24 hours if you target it with an attack or a harmful spell.

Additionally, you have advantage on saves against Diseases, and gain the Spare the Dying cantrip.

Warcaster (feat)

You have advantage on Constitution saving throws that you make to maintain your concentration on a spell when you take damage.

You can perform the somatic components of spells even when you have weapons or a shield in one or both hands.

When a hostile creature's movement provokes an opportunity attack from you, you can use your reaction to cast a spell at the creature, rather than making an opportunity attack. The spell must have a casting time of 1 action and must target only that creature.

Notes


Mas is a good-natured person but has enough of a skewed moral compass that I hazard to call him "good". He is equal parts law-biding and behaved as he is cheeky and mischeivous. He follows rules put before him, and can take things seriously in that degree, but is eager to have fun, play pranks, and get destructive as well. He doesn't fear death and doesn't see why others make such a big deal about it either.

His favorite spells are druidcraft, spiderclimb, and summon undead, but also basically always has mage armor on. If he does not have mage armor on by the beginning of a battle, he'll usually cast it immediately, but if someone else is in danger then he will pick to give mage armor to that person over himself. When it's an especially risky fight, he will also use Mirror Image, but otherwise refrains.

Mas is conservative with attack spells; most of his attacks are cantrips and he doesn't intend on changing that. Ray of Sickness is purely a back up option if needed; he prefers to have his spell slots used for support and utility, allowing for each encounter to be addressed uniquely for all party members. Also, he will never learn Eldritch Blast.

Mas very rarely carries any gold. Just having one gold piece is enough to him, and he then leaves the rest with his compatriots to ask them for money whenever he needs it. He tends not to spend big anyways and will eat absolute garbage food if that's what's put in front of him.

While Taipan was screwed over by other lich, Mas still wants to meet other lich in the hopes they will be helpful to saving Taipan. In particular, he wants to meet Masterlich Orpheus someday, a Lich who happens to run a territory called Shadowleaf where people and undead live in harmony. Attempts thus far have failed as Orpheus doesn't seem to like leaving his castle grounds very much and his gate is guarded by several strong stone constructs. Mas has not given up.

Mas feels no particular kinship to other Eladrin elves anymore than any other mortal species. He is drawn to the undead, excited by the undead, and eager to speak with the undead. He's often disappointed when they don't want to talk to him.

Appearance


As an Eladrin elf, Mas' appearance is somewhat ever-changing. His skin and hair color will change daily even, based on his mood. His default mood and form is that of an Autumn Eladrin; a mood of generosity, good will, and peace. His second most common mood makes him a springtime; cheery and energetic, and equally selfless. As an autumn, Mas' hair is hues of orange with leaves here and there that make crisp, crinkly sounds when touched, and his skin a light sherbert shade of orange. As a spring, his skin becomes green with pink hair with green leaves and green hair. No matter his form, his eyes are a dark brick red color.

Less common are summer, marked by fury, and winter, marked by misery. He needs to be pushed to become these. As a summer, his skin and hair are both green with a hint of sun-bleaching. As a winter, his leaves hide away while his hair turned a grey-ish brown, and his skin becomes white as snow.

His body type is feminine and encouraged by his general sense of fashion that includes tall boots and gloves and casual corsets. His pants are just whatever work with his given boots, but his tops tend to be loose and comfortable. His clothing may be patterned but never looks too expensive. Matched with a backpack that appears like a large straw summer hat, Mas appears as though he's a traveller but not a powerful magic user. He is thin with very big, thick hair.

His nose is curved and bird-like. He wears a lax expression most of the time and is matcheed with a lopsided, smug smile. He usually looks like he knows what he's doing, and usually this proves to be untrue.
