Profile

Weapon/Catalyst:

“Jenny” is the name of his main tool, infused with a repair magic for cyborg parts and androids, but it can also of course be used as a normal welder for his mechanical work.

The small blue screen on Jenny can detect malfunctions and damages happening within mechanical parts, xray style, and depending on the severity is able to shoot a repair magic to the said afflicted parts.

Though it can detect an array of defects and impairments on any given machine, if it is a more complex malfunction it cannot be fixed simply with the repair magic and will require Vesta’s manual attention.

Trivia:

-Vesta named this tool “Jenny” because “having a woman’s name on my catalyst makes it seem like I get laid”

-Because of its gun-like shape, people and androids frequently freak out because they think he’s about to shoot them.

-Can also be used as a weapon in a pinch, because well, it’s a welding tool, so it spits white hot flames.

Move Set:

[Flame Blade]

Basic move (+10 dmg)

An attack move used when needed, using Jenny’s basic welding flame to damage enemies and protect himself.

[Troubleshoot]

10 stamina (+50 heal) 90% acc // Only effective on Cyborgs/Androids

Jenny scans and detects malfunctions and damage and shoots a repair magic to the afflicted parts.

[Overclock]

10 stamina (+50 buff) 90% acc // Only effective on Cyborgs/Androids

Essentially an overheal move, where when an ally is at full health, Jenny can “overclock” the ally’s machine parts and give the said ally a temporary +50 attack buff.

PERSONALITY

Vesta is best described as Hedonistic- he is happiest when he does what he wants, when he wants, and in general acts on impulse and intuition.

This can be both a negative or a positive, since this keeps him relatively stress free and making creative discoveries he never would have made otherwise and excels in things he likes to do— but it can of course also make him difficult to work with, a procrastinator, and erratic in behavior.

His flexible and quick-thinking mind is often a valuable asset in the field of invention and innovation, allowing him to think outside the box and bringing tons of new ideas to the table.

However this can also make him insensitive and intolerant, since his priority is to fiercely defend and debate what he believes is best without considering the other’s comfort level or emotional points of view.

But then again, this trait makes him hold a deep, devoted admiration to those he deem better than him and becomes eager to learn from them.

Being hedonistic, he dislikes rigid and structured concepts, which by proxy affects his idea of relationships as well. He’s rather insensitive to the other’s feelings, and simply acts on his desire and impulse- which can make his eyes wander from one person to another in a matter of minutes from quick loss of interest. Though once he claims something or someone is worth his commitment, he will fiercely defend it or them with his life. That goes for his family as well, which he deeply cares for and loves them to death.

BIOGRAPHY:

TL;DR-

Hopelessly bad at school but talented at tinkering with machines which was his only saving grace and his Robotics club teacher recommended he join PP’s Requiem Reversal. Vesta decided to join because of the super epic work benefits and pay.

——-

Vesta had a relatively normal childhood in the lower-middle class, albeit a bit of a larger family- of 2 blood-siblings and 2 step-siblings. His father is out of the picture, disappearing before Vesta could form any real memories of him. However his mother did a pretty good job raising them, if not just a bit absent- but that was because she had to work a lot to provide for the large family.

He was the middle child, making him a bit of a rebel child in his youth- but he’s always had lots of love for his entire family, step and all. They weren’t rich, but their mother worked hard and got all of her kids through school and kept a roof over their head, which Vesta is eternally proud of and grateful for.

-

Vesta wasn’t particularly academically successful, in fact he repeated a couple years during his elementary years; skipping classes and rarely turning in assignments- but there was one extracurricular class he fell in love with in high school, and that was the school’s robotics club.

He constantly tinkered with little parts he found in the dumps during his core classes, and showing his creations ranging from crude to polished, to the school’s robotics teacher after classes, who he still to this day deeply admires as his mentor.

He continued to excel in that one extracurricular with flying colors, even a few times leading his high school robotics team to victory in competitions with the other local schools.

Because he practically neglected his core classes to fully occupy his mind with robotics, he barely graduated with the skin of his teeth- but he somehow managed, with the help of a recommendation letter from the Robotics club teacher.

-

Post-graduation, Vesta considered several routes, including applying for an apprenticeship at the local mechanic, or maybe go on a so-called “soul-searching” gap year- but in the end he took up his teacher’s suggestion of applying for Primordial Paradox.

The main reason he chose PP wasn’t anything grand or magnificent- it was mostly the amazing work benefits he would receive by joining and the compensation for his family, which would finally take some weight off of his hard-working mother’s and sibling’s shoulders... Though he couldn’t deny part of the reason was because the members of that organization were admired by the crowd, plus, popular with the ladies. (Which he has yet to experience)

Though his standard class grades were abysmal, the track record for his impact on the robotics team was undeniable- plus the pristine recommendation letter his robotics teacher wrote helped him push through to acceptance by PP.

He entered the training program at 21 and graduated at 26, and has been accepted into Requiem Reversal where he currently resides.
