Faint wisps may actually be magic lamps or ghost lights, the places those lead to dubious at best. The abandoned-looking mansion this sipper inhabits being one such eerie location. A self-proclaimed researcher of the paranormal, most find their aura too creepy to take them up on their offers of hospitality. Those who do have reported a huge black creature with glowing eyes prowling the halls at night, a mystkat far more suspicious of new faces than the home's owner. Unbeknownst to them it's tragic backstory, having being rescued from near-death, but their sibling not being so lucky. The sipper who saved them vowed to find a way to bring their loved one back from the dead, and over the years became the researcher they are today. Their intentions were good once but... at some point, they may have lost their way. The trust that goes into allowing yourself to be experimented on, to willingly consume a fellow elemental and endure the frightening process of transforming into a glowing coeurl... was it really all for the sake of research? Blinded by determination to save their sibling, this mystkat doesn't realize how they may be taken advantage of."
