Altun Adarkim is a powerful Echo-bearer and Warrior of Light. With his malleable magic and myriad Voidsent pacts, Altun is the most versatile party member out of Maqali's group, able to fit into any role; he defaults to the roles of caster DPS and Tank more often than not. Due to his actions at the Ghimlyt Dark, allyship with the Bozjan Resistance, and the role he took in stopping the Weapons Project, Altun is a wanted man by Garlemald, though he has effortlessly deflected every assassination attempt. Having formed his own faction — the Hellweavers — Altun has since declared official war on Garlemald.

Pact Creation
Altun is the bearer of just shy of 100 Voidsent pacts. These pacts confer to him specific benefits depending on the Voidsent. Altun can use his pacts to do the following:
- Voidsent Control: By invoking the pact of that specific Voidsent, Altun can exert a measure of control over them; however, he believes in their autonomy first and foremost and therefore will never do so unless said Voidsent proves to be of great detriment to themself or others. He has used this ability only once in an effort to stop Dantalion from attacking Emet-Selch in the Rak'tika Greatwoods.
- Power Usage: By activating a pact of a specific Voidsent, Altun can use their respective powers. A detailed list of each unique power he has access to when invoking a specific pact is below. When Altun invokes a specific Voidsent's powers, that Voidsent can sense it even if Altun is a great distance away; the connection is extremely weak if Altun is on another Star. Previously, Altun was only able to utilize one pact power at a time, but as of Endwalker due to his hard work and training, he can activate up to seven pact seals at a time.
- Emotion Sensing: Due to his pacts, his Voidsent can sense his emotions extremely easily and from a long distance away. This makes it easy for them to read his emotional state and know if he's in danger or not. Altun cannot get a read on their emotions through the pacts, however; it only works one way. Similar to the "Power Usage" limits, Altun's Voidsent have only a very faint connection to his emotional state if he's on another Star.
Household Pacts
Through his pact with Andras, Altun can create his own pact with other mortals, placing his own seal somewhere upon their bodies. Operating under the same principle as a standard Voidsent pact would, Altun's Household Pact-Holders can do the following:
- Power Usage: Weaker than what a direct link with the Voidsent can do, Altun's Household Pact-Bearers can utilize an extremely limited variant of a pacted Voidsent's magic due to being able to somewhat connect with the Voidsent via Altun. An example of this is Ishault's scythe being a pact weapon via Naberius, or Cillien invoking a surface-level variant of Zagan's mindreading.
- Emotion Sensing: Via their pact with Altun, Altun can sense his Household members' emotions. The range on this is somewhat limited; if Altun is on another continent, the connection is weak. Being on a separate Star entirely cuts this connection.
Fusion
Yet another benefit conferred through his pact with Andras, Altun can fuse with up to eight others at a time, so long as they are a Household Pact-Bearer. This puts extreme strain on his body, however. During the fight with Hades, Altun used this ability improperly to form Alranai, an unstable primal-like being formed of himself, Andras, Arnai, and Arasen — only roughly half of all versions of "himself" that had been sundered and scattered. This unstable being was too dangerous to be used again due to Andras absorbing the aether of those part of the fusion. This ability was historically used to its maximum of eight once when he reformed into Deimos, his unsundered self, to fight Elidibus by assembling all of his reflections from across the other Stars. The results of this resulted in all members of the fusion going comatose after they split apart.
Altun mainly uses this power to fuse himself, Andras, and one other Voidsent together for a power boost. He most commonly picks Dantalion for this. While he has the ability to fuse with his other Household members, he rarely does it due to the strain it puts on the body. Ishault specifically has the ability to force a fusion between the two of them if Altun is incapacitated and unable to perform the fusion himself, thereby giving Ishault a way to drag his unruly partner out of a battle gone wrong; he is the only Household member who possesses this ability.

- Aamon: Enhances Altun's fire spells.
- Agares: Allows Altun to manipulate his Aura in a limited area around himself. He can create shields or use this ability offensively, though the range is short.
- Allocer: Ash manipulation; through Allocer, Altun can create his own ashes from nothing, but finds it more effective to have ashes created by his fire magic first.
