ABOUT
Say hello to Dewey, a young starlet crash-landed into the wide, wide...very wide ocean world she's found her little self stranded on!
In a turn of events she's found herself bouncing from pirate ship to pirate ship, caught in a cartoonishly dramatic feud! It's not all bad, though! ..well, okay, it's pretty bad- it's too salty, and the pirates are smelly, and the boats rock too much..
A-and the crew is always babying her-and the captains, ohh the CAPTAINS! They're always picking her up and showing her around when she's busy- and making her EAT all of this scrumtious GROSS sea-fish!
...but it's not too bad, she supposes.
BIOGRAPHY
"I miss the stars...but seeing them in the sea feels like home."
Dewey is a young alien child that snuck out further than she was allowed to in her little spacecraft. The child safety settings were supposed to be on- training wheels so she wouldn't stray far during her behind-the-wheel training! Unfortunately for Dewey and her instructor, she is both daring and smart, and managed to disable the settings and leave with the ship before the instructor even knew she had boarded!
It's not unusual for aliens of her age (roughly 5 human years) to begin learning to pilot a ship- their species is very nomadic, and if she had gotten lost it's important she know how to get somewhere they might find her- or at least be able to send a signal. She was only in the beginning stages of being taught, and as such it was only natural for an unceremonious crash-landing into an unfamiliar planet- and unable to send a distress signal with the ship rapidly sinking beneath the waves.
It's a good thing there was a ship nearby when she crashed, or she'd be stuck at sea! She doesn't know how to swim!
