Winston is diligent and an obedient soldier and is often a stickler for following the rules. He has high respect for his superiors and comrades and is extremely loyal to those he trusts. While he isn't a fan of conflict, he can be confronting when necessary and is known to be stubborn when it comes to decisions that directly affect him and his friends.
Winston prefers working alongside other people as a supporting role rather than being independent. He likes working in teams and will go to great lengths in making sure everyone can get along. He has good qualities as a leader but likes giving chances to other people whilst helping them in the background as he doesn't want too much attention drawn to him. This is due to the fact that he is stealth and would much rather blend into a crowd than get unnecessary attention.
Winston can be easily flustered and emotional however he often shows his vulnerability to only those he trusts and has a positive relationship with.
When fighting titans, Winston is merciless, especially if the titan has killed or injured any of his comrades. He finds it hard to process deaths and often puts too much responsibility of others onto himself.
Winston grew up in the Trost District with his family consisting of his mother, father, and younger sister. He was assigned female at birth but realized at a young age that he was trans and wanted to transition. With the help of the family doctor, Winston was able to transition early as a teenager and grew up living his life as stealth up until the present.
When turning 16, he signed up to join the military as a soldier and eventually joined the Garrison Regiment in the year 842. However, he soon transferred to the Scout Regiment in the year 844 where he continued to affiliate himself.
Winston first heard of him in passing when in the Garrison Regiment and was able to work beside him after his transfer to the Scout Regiment. Since then, he's developed a liking for Levi and trusts his judgement the most out of anyone.
