"If all goes well, we should be back in 4 day's one week's time. There are two sacks of rice in the drawer under the sink and money on the table to buy more (emergency ONLY!). Fish are plentiful this season so you shouldn't have a problem catching food. You can use the technique I showed you to entice more to the surface.
You can go further down river if you want to catch crayfish but don't go too far. Do not go past the gnarled old mangrove tree at the fork in the river. Always check your body for leeches and remember what we told you to do if you find one. Do not go home with a leech on your body.
