Unlike most voidsent who form completely new pacts once their host has expired, Esteem has continouely recreated pacts with those of the same linage. Of the first of the reapers, Esteem knew that eventually, due to her influnce, her original hosts bloodline would become more tainted due to her constant mingling with it. Cunning and patient as she was, playing the long game in order to have the perfect host was something she was willing to wait for, even it would take a millenia. Eventually, the Vrazechel bloodline would see that all of it's kin be able to connect to the thirtheen thanks to her continued influence throught the generation she was able to touch. However, despite her gift of foresight, when an acian took control of and began to lead the people of Garlemald into an industrial revolution the need for reapers quickly dwindled, which meant the chance of the bloodline she worked so hard on had a high chance of dying out. Eventually, thanks to the strain she put on her host, and the abitions of the ever-growing empire, her current host eventually broke under her mental stress. Esteem figured it was the perfect opprotunity to at least push her way through the avatar in order to finish her legacy, even if it was early for her liking, until her hosts son took away the soulstone in order to protect his mother.
Frustraited, Esteem could not form a pact with him as he had already formed a pact with another, more powerful voidsent which put her plans to a grand hault. Stuck without a proper host, Esteem continued to connect and influnce her original host, but without the soulstone, her strength was begining to leave as old age was taking it's toll. All this time, all this waiting and her plan would fail. Not all was lost however, as without the soulstone, her original host still had the avatar connecting them and through that she still possessed a lens to see through to the source. Soon, her son's children would become curious and see her, allowing Esteem to look at and hopefully, have her pick of the litter. All of them, their blood tainted with the void, some weaker than others, but it was enough. There was one girl however that the voidsent had her eyes on, one whose blood was the most corrupted she's ever seen. It wet her appitite greatly.
Yinne, this child was called, would continue to visit often as if hearing Esteem's call. This was the one, Esteem felt, was near perfection to what she wanted. The empire had already pushed out most of the reapers, or there was so few left it would be like starting over for her. After a failed assasination attempt by one of the other bloodlines the Empire looked down upon the rest of them with Emperor Solus and his men keeping a close eye, if not ouright taking their bloodright to weild a weaponized scythe from them. If it wasn't for his grandson, Varis, having a use for them once the old Emperor took to his death bed, she was sure that the reapers would have died out and their soulstones destoryed. Patient as ever, Esteem would wait until the perfect momment to strike, and that momment came when the girls village was almost burned to the ground by vengeful aan. The drive to become stronger, the uncontious lust for blood, she could taste it. WIP)

Like her previous hosts, Esteem was cordial with them, aiding them in their fight alongside The Empire before Solus revolutionized their way of fighting, making the need for reapers obsolete. Slowly, she would drive them insane as they gave in to her, allowing her power to surge through them when they needed more power. Eventually, instead of dying and being passed on the way she was used to, she was honourably discharged due to her mental state becoming a liability for the war effort.
Having taken up the mantle of a reaper, Esteem was sure that she would eventually be passed on to him from his mother, Crete Oen Zeshel, to him, but he ended up making a pact with another, stronger voidsent. Once he was no longer an option, she didn't pay much attention to him until he started to get in her way when influencing her current host to try to pass her onto the grandchildren instead. However, she was kept at bay as Caeso and his wife Integra kept a vigilant watch over the children's interactions with their grandmother. From then on, she saw him as a thorn in her side. Eventually, she would form a pact with Yinne, free of her entrapment with her dying host.
Once Yinne left her home with her in tow, Esteem found herself amid the most oblivious person in existence. Although Yinne had her Soul Crystal, she had no idea how to connect with it, leaving Esteem struggling to form a proper connection despite forming a pact. Through prophetic dreams, or rather nightmares, she tried her best to communicate with her host, but it wasn't until Yinne was at her all-time low was she able to reach her heart. Once establishing a stable connection, she enticed Yinne to dip into the abyss, tricking her into giving in to her while having Yinne believe it was her own. However, Esteem did not account for her to have such strong emotions and a stalwart soul. In the end, Yinne had influenced her as well, causing her to become attached to her charge. Perhaps one day, she will take Yinne as she intended, but for now, she is content with being along for the ride.
Having become a companion of her host after just getting a foothold in her heart, he would always make sure to keep Yinne out of trouble and make sure she was taking care of herself. With Negi around, it became difficult to entice Yinne to give in to her, resulting in Esteem seeing him as an obstacle for her to remove. Despite this, he invoked a sense of curiosity as he carried the scent of the fae. How had he become fae touched? The unknown cause perked her interest in him, an interest which would stop her from driving a wedge between them. Still, since he was in the way, she wished he'd go away on his own until she reached an understanding with Yinne. In the present, she still finds his motherly care to be annoying but accepts him being in Yinne's life.
