About
A little socially awkward and very shy, Solomon is never seen without his sister, and if he is, perchance, seen without his sister, he's either terribly lost or having a breakdown because he is lost. After all that had happened to him and his sister, Tryphosa will tell you that Solomon changed quite drastically, and is nothing like his former self. Lacking confidence and afraid to be alone, anywhere without his big sister is a very dangerous and scary place for the young boy. Very rarely does he show any semblance of who he once was, but when he does, it's often something akin to generosity. He likes to share and give things he finds he doesn't need too much, but he isn't often found with folk his age, and he has grown to loathe his lion form. Life is hard for young Solomon, and in his despair he sees no end in sight.
Summary
Solomon knew his family wasn't all that normal. His father had a horrid temper and would always lash out at him and his siblings for seemingly nothing. Mother, one day, disappeared only to never return, and whenever he asked father about it, he'd just grow angry and hit him. Despite all the problems his father had, Sol thought his family was good, and normal... but things really weren't. It was only when his father and bound his oldest sister, Tryphosa, and threw her into the ocean did he really realize how his father was, and how messed up everything really is. Ty had always been the one to take care of him after mother had left them, so she was most like his mother out of all his other siblings and his father. He was half tempted to jump in after her, and his father helped by picking him up and throwing him into the water. This would not have been a problem if it weren't for one thing; Solomon could not swim.
Solomon was about to drown until he felt something warm against his forehead. Air filled his lungs and he became conscious once again, however he soon realized that he did not breath in air. It was water. Somehow he could breath water, and his legs had merged to become a singular tail, much like his own sisters, who now swam before him. This, obviously, freaked him out, and yet afterwards all he could do was hug his sister and cry, the weight of what happened falling upon him all at once like the ocean water around them. Since then, most of their time is spent in the depths of an ocean that is never ending. Water and islands about but nothing looks like it once did, and despite the gentle heat of the water and the pretty lights that filter through, all Solomon feels is the cool touch of cruelty and the despair of the loss of things past.
