Ivory loved cards since they were a small child. Being a demon meant being villainised for a pair of horns, so the path of the occult was an easy choice to make. It started with card games... then card tricks, tarot readings... when they thought they should actually get involved magically. Getting accepted to such a highly praised academy as the central one of Nødre wasn't an easy job. However, their Goddess, Lady Fate, had blessed them and Ivory somehow got a scholarship... and an amazing career of an entertainer ahead of them. They aren't all too popular, but that can change with a little faith in the cards.

They figured that being a demon taking illusion classes would discourage anyone from approaching them. However, their luck seems to have not run out just yet; a fated meeting with a fellow demon classmate, Luleni, takes place in the academy cafeteria... They take a liking to the cat-demon, whilst keeping their distance, feeling as if they don't... exactly, belong there.

As the two gradually get closer the unthinkable happens; midway through the year Luleni and Ivory - the harmless neighbourhood pranksters of this humble academy - get framed for attempted murder?? Ah, Lady Fate has turned a blind eye for them it seems, since they have to go through court proceedings. Luleni is keen to learn about their cases' attorneys, which they claim to be "very familiar". Ivory doesn't see it, so they lay silent as the judge swings their gavel...
