The witch of Arcada

Family had been a highly important value of Clarice’s life, and there had been a time when it had been in her life at all. She’d been born to a bloodline of magical women, seemingly cursed and and made infamous by frightened townspeople. Her father’s whereabouts were always unknown, though her mother and grandmother remained at home. The Everill family lived happily, until the night her mother had left home, and was found murdered by someone within the town. Eventually, her grandmother passed away as well, and she was left alone.

Clarice still lives in the overgrown cabin at the edge of town, using magic and rumors to keep them far away from her beloved home. Until Naava arrives, she knows nothing more than the safety of the Everill cabin, and soon she’s shown the beauty and comfort of the world by a wandering soul and a local forest guide.
