Scourge of Clan Sahd'ran

Scourge's species, Nowlings, were an ancient folk. Hailing from another plane, they evolved eons ago, and for many millennia their clans lived in harmony, unified by cooperation between the unique cultures who each had different psychic powers. But this all changed when their sun began to die, and they were thrust into conflict over their world's remaining resources. Only one clan, Sahd'ran, managed to escape the plane before its destruction, using their powers of illusion to elude the wars. The surviving Nowlings, who departed using the strongest magic rituals they could find, are scattered across the Forgotten Realms. Scourge knows not of his kin. His goal is to seek them out and prevent his species from extinction. Yet this strange new world of capitalism and social stratification was unkind to him, and he resorted to thievery and assassination to get his way, eventually building himself a criminal empire in Baldur's Gate.

Scourge is not an emotional man. Little makes him happy aside from being in control -- and even then, those who know him say he's hard to read. Deeply nostalgic, he is dead set on finding a way to reunite with other Nowlings by any means possible, even if that means hurting or killing those that get in his way. He is not sympathetic, nor is he unwilling to voice his opinions unless doing so would cause harm to him personally. That being said, he is not unintelligent -- you can't become the leader of the criminal underworld if you haven't got the brains -- just stubborn in his belief that everyone on this plane is below him.

Scourge firmly believes that capitalism is a plague upon civilization and seeks to destroy it. He is also of the opinion that deity worship is absurd, despite the fact that the gods have been proven to exist and provide divine magical power to their followers in Faerun.

• Scourge is gay. Despite this, he is willing to reproduce, but only for the purpose of restoring the Nowling population.
• Scourge's gang is named after his clan, Sahd'ran. He's kind of obsessed.
• Scourge is a soulknife rogue, capable of manifesting psychic power even beyond his lineage's natural capabilities.

Most of Scourge's assassination targets don't have any trace of blood or gore on them when they are found. This is due to the fact he uses psychic, rather than physical, blades to make his kills.

• Nowlings like Scourge resemble velociraptors except for that they are larger, are anthropomorphic, have ears, and lack sickle claws.
• If Scourge is drawn using psychic powers, please manifest this in the form of purple flames.
• Scourge doesn't wear shirts -- only pants and shoes.

Scourge has many forms. He usually appears as a heavily tattooed and pierced human man, but this is just his favorite illusion. Very few know that he truly looks like an avian dinosaur.
