| In the frozen heart of the north gods and men were often at odds. Often unable to communicate directly Ivan was created to walk the line between the spirit world and the human world, keeping peace between the two by creating contracts and delivering offerings from the human world to the gods. He is a bit of a peculiar character since he tends to be by himself while traveling from place to place. His rusty social skills along with his connection to the spirit world often frightens people. To make it worse the first thing he tends to ask lords about is if they have any children that would make a good marriage prospect. Even if he manages to make a marriage arrangement he tends to chicken out and call it off just before leaving, much to the relief of the families of the brides (and grooms) to be. |
