In contrast, Heart holds high respect for those who carry themselves well and respect them and will drop their ill manners to match it.

Despite their views on the weak, Heart despises those who pit those weaker to them into unnecessary suffering. They believe that all deserve a fair chance.

Overall, and to restate for clarity's sake. Heart believes that even the smallest flea could change the world, but believes those who are foolish enough to fall from deception, scams, and manipulation deserve it. Heart holds respect for those willing to return the same respect.

Shadow Viscus

Heart is a being of shadow given form, Heart lacks any internal organs. Anything they consume is immediately turned into extra energy. They absorb food by absorbing it through their skin. Heart does not have to consume food to sustain their life but it is required to maintain forms above their base form and they become significantly weaker if they do not.

Regeneration

Heart is capable of passively regenerating wounds and loss of limbs. Depending on the severity of an injury, it will affect how long it takes to heal.

• Heart will notably feel sore in parts that have healed over or may still experience some pain.
• Regenerated limbs may not ‘function properly’ for a short period when fully regenerated, a leg may give out while walking or standing, an arm might have a mind of its own.

Poisonus

Completely useless in most cases, the substance Heart’s body is made from is a highly non-lethal toxin that when licked or consumed can cause numbness in certain body parts and/or full-body paralysis.

• The extent of this depends on the exposure, a simple lick can cause one's tongue to become fully numbed.
• In all other degrees it is completely safe to touch Heart.

Inner Storage

Heart can store small objects inside of their body by simply shoving it into themselves.

• The object must realistically be able to actually fit in them, for example, they wouldn't be able to put a long stick in their leg and still be able to bend their leg.
• Cannot store living creatures, they will suffocate and die.
• Objects can be taken out by other people by force.

Shapeshifting

Heart is capable of transforming their body into numerous forms, however, all are typically restricted to their base shadowy appearance.

• They can use this to change their clothes and overall appearance, hair, eyes, body shape, and so on.
• In addition to this, they can summon extensions to their body in the form of weapons and objects. (Only possible in form 2 and up)
• Ex. Creating a paddle to row a boat, or a blade to fight with. Cannot turn into complex objects. If the object breaks or takes any damage by any means, the pain/damage is reflected onto themselves.

Heart, a being sealed away for 800 years, awoke in the year 2420, unsealed by Kuraim. With hazy memory and insurmountable rage, Heart seeks to restore their lost powers.

Neklo’mel was a ruler of their kind in the late 1600s, they lived lavishly, using the money gained from their campaigns. They were usurped in the early 1700s by a group of interlopers who fragmented Heart's soul and locked them away in a sanctum hidden deep under their castle. Their name and rule would eventually be written out of history itself, becoming merely a distorted fairy tale myth, and finally fading into obscurity.

Story

Neklo’mel was a ruler of their kind in the late 1600s, they revered themselves as a deity, a cut above the rest. Neklo lived lavishly, using money gained from their campaigns that terrified and turned lowly peasants to their worship. Offering protection to those who paid their dues.

Neklo’s actions made them many enemies, a group of interlopers schemed away, repulsed by the ruler’s selfish reign. The interlopers made deals with kings and people who suffered at the hands of Neklo. Their plan? To split up the shadow ruler’s spirit amongst themselves, reduce them to merely a fraction of their previous power.

The interlopers would succeed in their plan, infiltrating Neklo’s trusted circle, overwhelming their guards. Using a catalyst infused with a powerful ritual. The leader, Evrix usurped Neklo, taking a part of their spirit for himself, and fulfilled the deal by splitting the rest into fragments amongst trusted kingdoms and people.

Neklo’mel, the former ruler of the penumbrae was cast into obscurity, forced into a slumber, and sealed away for eternity. Their name and rule would eventually be written out of history itself, becoming merely a distorted fairy tale myth, and finally fading into obscurity.

2420

In the year 2420, Kuraim, a scholarly spirit searching for age-old scripts, would unearth the location of Neklo’s slumber by pure chance. Opening it to discover the small and weak remnants of Neklo’mel, their memory hazy and full of holes. Simply remembering the rage of having their status stripped from them, they vowed to return to their former glory. Kuraim offered his help to restore Heart’s soul, and thereby their memory as well in return for accounts of Heart’s past life.

Over the months, Heart would struggle to adjust to the new world, entirely new compared to the one they had formerly known. Meeting new people along the way, eventually using the Purple Lotus as a way to find information and potential allies in their quest to restore their power.

Goals

Heart primarily seeks to restore their former power and attempt to reattain their former status, perhaps even get revenge on those who locked them away in the first place, if they're even still around that is.
