Just to hear me cry mercy
Long ago, there was a kingdom of white marble that prospered by the sea. At its head was a queen that was beloved by her people, and at her right side, the Royal Guard.
While the kingdom was very powerful and rich in culture, history, and military prowess, it is said the ocean is a jealous and spiteful being, and so she called the tides to her side and swept it to ruin in a calamitous storm, casting it to the bottom of the sea. The sole survivor of this tragedy was the Guard, and they were left to wander, traumatized and without their beloved queen.
It took a long time before they were able to settle, but only a few years for them to become a respected member of a neighboring civilization. As a teacher, friend, and colleague, they buried themself in constant work, keeping the mystery of their long past a painful secret. They could be found often alone on their balcony, mourning something that no other soul would ever know - until, one day, many years later, a travelling artist drew onto the shore, bringing with her Percival's long-lost heart.

- They are afraid of deep water
- Can summon numerous white spectral hands to restrain foes, grab objects, etc. Their sword is their wand. It is said that these are the desperate grasping hands of the soldiers that were lost in the kingdom's fall
- Beyond the above, their magical ability is heavily limited
- Despite their looks and hobbies, Percival can hold themself very well in hand-to-hand combat. It is speculated they have military experience but they do not speak of it
