Profile
Miss Helen
Helen is a homebody that is hyperfixated with the aesthetics of the 1940's-1960's. She's fashioned her entire life around vintage products, driving an old car, stocking her home with old appliances, and spending each and every day dressed like a 1950's houswife. One could argue that this was some sort of social regression, given her race and gender, but she maintains that her obession is an act of reclaiming a suburban, kitschy lifestyle that was denied to her and women like her throughout history.
Originally a recluse because her medical condition made it difficult to work/go outside, she has since invested her time and energy into carefully curating her life to be a perfectly retro paradise. Stepping into her home is like stepping into a time machine! Still, her idyllic life isn't entirely perfect. She simply longs for someone to share it with. But...that could be a difficult when she dislikes going outside for any reason that ISN'T grocery shopping.

TRIVIA
Has hydrocephalus, and her werms (which are made of gelatin) replaced her shunt so she can live a more comfortable life.
Her worms look like jell-o salads, and exclusively eat chopped up fruts, veggies, and other retro salad toppings. Olives are their favorites, though!
Her voice claim is Kath Soucie

A fellow gal with worms (not werms), Opal and Helen are prone to long landline phone conversations about all sorts of mundane things. Makeup, boys, girls, the difficulty of untangling worms from textured hair....they spend hours just talking about nothing over tea or fruit punch. Opal's the wiser and more worldly gal of the two, but she appreciates Helen's more "simplistic" goals and ambitions, often giving her life advice or trying to coax her out of her home more often.
