Personality: kind-hearted, his aim is to be an adult man u can feel safe around, generally v nice to anyone even if they're bein a bit of a dick, but wont go out of his way to try n b friends-

Backstory: hes a palaeontologist, he was excited when they started bringin back pokemon from fossils and was contracted to find fossils for their new project, which was described to him as like, a research park for figuring out how to look after and care for these new old pokemon-

It turned out that it was more of an amusement park and Alan wasnt best pleased at that

and then when he goes to visit theres a Team Rocket Incident so after all that Alan is like "yea mayb ill stay away from that kinda shit from now on" so then he spends a few years travelling around doin various digs findin various bones-

and when he gets to galar, hes horrified!
