- gigi was adopted. She doesn't know her real parents and her chosen ones disowned her.
- She is very passionate about many things and often has uncontrollable mood swings. This is both a curse and a blessing, as she can oftentimes find herself suffering emotionally, however she is very empathetic towards everyone/thing.
- she will always want to help, even when help is not wanted by the other party. some people find her annoying because of this.
- she doesn't believe in god, mostly because she's seen the underworld and can't believe that an all knowing all loving forgiving deity would leave that many souls to suffer.
- She's clairvoyant,, or a psychic? or a medium? she doesn't really have a name for it, she can just see and interact with ghosts... so much so that she's dating one.

- gigi was named because I, as the artist, was too lazy to come up with a name and used gg (goth girlfriend) as a filler. I then came up with the name Ari a year later but it never stuck as well.
- gigi is meant to be the main character, however she has way less written backstory and motivations than any of the other characters in this universe.
