Background - 

Firstborn child of Vinegaroon and Amber, Alder has more memory of the Hives than his younger brother Western does, having been hatched several years before their parents' relationship was discovered and Amber managed to flee Pantala with him and stumbled across Haven. He does not miss them at all. 

Did not expect to have a younger brother, especially after the disaster that forced them from their original home, but easily slid into the role once Western hatched.

Personality Traits - 

Tries very hard to be there and supportive for his mother and Western in the absence of Vinegaroon in their family. Might possibly be lowkey very stressed.
