sootcreek

Sootcreek is a medium-height, thin molly with medium-length fur. Her fur is soft and swooping, she has gray tabby mottled markings with light brown undertones. She has a white underbelly that reaches to her muzzle, chest, paws, and the underside of her tail. Their eyes are a blue-teal color.

Sootcreek is a reserved, quiet cat with a strong moral compass. She struggles with social interactions when not aided by her sister, and thrives in the background. Sootcreek is extremely self-effacing and will go to great lengths to keep themself safe from attention. Being able to perform on her own without scrutiny is what makes her feel at peace. Her worst fear is the rejection that comes from failure. She has little confidence in herself, and fears that if only given the opportunity to fail, she will do just that.

Before Sootkit and Cinderkit were born, their father, Rubbleberry, passed away from eating rotten prey. Then later, when Sootkit and Cinderkit were about 6 moons old, their mother, Deersong, passed away from an illness sweeping the colony. Ever since then, Sootcreek has relied on Cinderstream for support, letting her be the strong one. Into apprenticehood, Sootpaw was more comfortable letting Cinderpaw take the praise and attention while she stood behind, letting this pattern continue. Often, when Sootpaw caught more prey on a hunt than Cinderpaw, Cinderpaw would carry the extra prey for her and claim she caught it, to save Sootpaw the grief of the attention.
