Grayson wandered about the streets. When he heard there was a circus nearby, he had been really interested. But it took a lot of convincing from his sharky boyfriends to actually make him go. Most times, the city was scarier to him than the dark swamps.
But it was somewhat alright this time. He could just hide away in the crowd, and while he got an odd look here or there, most people seemed to just assume he belonged to the circus troupe and didn't mind much.
That's also why he didn't immediately freak out when he lost sight of his companions. He'd surely find them again and could just take some time to visit the city a little for once.
After a while of wandering, he even spotted more robbers, and some of them were most certainly not of the "regular" kind. Grayson knew that many severblights could be dangerous, even to him, but these seemed... somewhat under control. Even if it seemed a little uh, humiliating, it piqued his interest and he got closer to the group, but politely staying in the background for now.
