Unnamed Horse's Comments

Wow, that art is good! Do you have any tips on drawing horses?

This one is actually not me fully going at it for drawing starting from sketch, but from the others I have done, it helps to work with gestures and sketching from what you see either in real life or by photographs. I have also taken a couple of figure drawing classes that helps with getting started in that direction, but practice is how I've gotten to getting it right, as well as getting advice from fellow artists who I know are good with anatomy. When you know the anatomy and practice by what you see you can get a lot better at it all. If you look at what I drew for Sile (in the multi-world oc folder) in her eagle wolfix form and the headshot, you can see what I mean for that as the headshot was using a stock wolf ref on DeviantArt and the full wolf form using a photo ref I took of two wolf figurines I have. HellsDementedAngel and Autumn1185 are my two friends who I typically go to for checks like that. From Autumn: "The neck is the length of the head, the body is as tall as the head, and the long parts of the legs are the length of the head."
