He always was a helpful cat, oftenly helping elders or bringing herbs for the healers. When he grows up, he tends to help others with anything. He is really caring and really empathic. He was and always will be the best Moon 'Walkers deputy.

Kithood

Thistlekit was always a very energetic cat, and often got into trouble for being naughty. But that never stopped him from being a loyal cat to the colony. And so it was, as Thistlekit grew up along with other apprentices, he realized that the key to everything is to be someone kind, giving a chance to other cats was something he was passionate about and loved.

When he became an apprentice, his mother, Hazelwhisper, and his father, Ravenfrost, were proud of their only son. Although Thistledusk didn't have a very interesting life, he gave his all for his clan until Whitethorn came into his life. His kindness made it possible for her to have a second life and enjoy what she couldn't before.

Warriorhood

When Maplestar gave Whitepaw a chance, he offered to mentor her but he was denied. Instead, his friend Brindlemist offered himself to mentor Whitepaw. In the evenings, the two would go out to explore some secret places without the colony finding out, for then that would be a punishment. They both felt comfortable being next to each other, he always protected Whitethorn from those cats who didn't want to accept her, sometimes he even got into fights. Some time later he became deputy after his grand-father died in a battle against badgers, Maplestar felt very bad about it but he had given his life for his clan. Thistledusk was Maplestar's next choice. And although not everything went well, a few moons later he was intercepted by three clan cats, and that led to his death.

Star 'Walkers-hood

He started to appear on Whitethorn's dreams as a spirit when she was mourning him. He tried to help her and let her know that he always was there with her, but it wasn't enough. After she started her killing, he stopped caring about her. Of course he still does, but as his mate is in the Dark Spirits' Forest, he can't do anything for her. Still, he appears again giving his son prophecies and telling him he would be the best healer. He plays an important role on Swiftheart's life.

• He loved spending time with Whitethorn.
• His passion for exploration meant that he often got into trouble as a kitten..
• Sometimes when his mother was sick, he would bring her small daisies to cure her. It is said that those daisies were always blessed by Star Spirits.
• The cheerfulness and honesty he carries in his personality makes him pleasant to be with for some cats, and therefore he was Moon 'Walkers favorite since he became deputy.
• He feels guilty about what happens to others.
