Huron

Huron is a Blighted soul doomed to wander the snowy woods where they originally sprouted, forever.  They were once a proud Druidic Arborling, until they were infected with Blight.  They recognized their symptoms very early on, choosing instead to self-exile, instead of waiting for other Midveilers to cast them out.  They are in the early phases of Stage Two Blight, and they fade in and out of consciousness at times, the Blighted spore piloting their body.  They have resigned themselves to the eventual succumbing to the Blight, and take comfort in wandering the snow-covered pine forest where they were born.

Has a Stick Bug Catterfly mount named Timber, who looks out for them in times when their Blight takes over.  Huron raised Timber from a Kittypillar, and as they grew, their appearance changed more and more to resemble Huron.  When Huron realized they had contracted Blight, they self-exiled, urging Timber to stay behind, but Timber followed no matter how much Huron commanded them to stay in Midveil.

Timber now follows closely as Huron wanders, protecting Huron from the cold, predators, and themselves; often finding food and water for Huron, keeping them from straying into danger, and letting them ride on their back when Huron has exhausted themselves.  Timber has committed themselves to staying with Huron until the bitter end.

Some time after Huron's exile, they and Timber found an abandoned Dryad mount.  The Dryad was once a beloved pet Pile of Leaves, but was abandoned by its previous owner after it started growing too big, wild, and out of control.  Huron, seeing much of themselves in this Dryad, stayed by its side, and eventually the Dryad joined the two in their wandering.  Huron has named it Skov, and together it and Timber watch over Huron.

Huron had begun to thought that they would spend the remainder of their days alone, with only Timber and Skov by their side, until a day when they stumbled upon a Nightmare Jollybean...
