Two buttons sit on his collar, and the middle piece is able to light up with LEDs, more a part of the collar than of use. If the orange button is pressed, a menu comes up with different modes or settings Rover is able to go into. You may continue to press the orange button to switch between choices. If the red button is pressed, it selects the choice picked with the previous actions and changes Rover's personality or functions to fit the choice. The piece of collar between the two buttons will light up when a choice is made.

A small trinket hangs off of his collar, and if taken off, Rover will become upset and will try and get it back. It seems to hang on magnetically, but any form of magnets put up to it do not pull it away, as it is only able to be pulled away if grabbed by an outside force.
