With a placid smile and gentle but steady footsteps, Iaune is the sort of doe who stays calm in every situation - even when the situation absolutely doesn't warrant it. They're not necessarily a font of wisdom, but their focus on work, research, and ritual over making nice makes them at least dependable, if all you know is that you need someone to take some sort of action.

Quest
The world is changing around Iaune, but they'd rather keep doing as they've always done, turning a deaf ear on the consequences that may come about.
Conflict
Iaune is satisfied - perhaps a bit too satisfied. Much of their problem is that they don't seek things out for themself, and they don't care much when things turn out badly for them. Things upon Vykeli happen the way they will, Iaune thinks, and it's not their business to change the way its other inhabitants interact. Someday, their steady routine of work and meditation is not going to suffice.
hook - neighborhood
Iaune lives in a half-rotted log. Sure, they do fine there, and they've learned how to deal with the health problems that come with it...but it's maybe not the best for them, and their philosophy that life in the Homewood should be allowed to take its course generally means that they've got a strange reputation.
hook - weird science!
Iaune is fascinated by things that don't behave the way they should. Learning why exceptions work that way helps them build a new world, and they eagerly seek out things that don't make any sense at all. They'd love to hear the strange tales you have to spin - or, better yet, experience them firsthand.

The last thing anyone would call Iaune is lazy. Though they are calm to the point of spooking other people out, and they participate in a lot of calming and meditative activities, Iaune does not feel comfortable if they are not constantly working, learning, and moving forward.

Iaune's favorite mushrooms include liberty caps and fly agaric.

Iaune is fun and witchy with very low commitment. They just want to live their life! Friends, flings, past flings, and coworkers (??) are all welcome.

Beginnings
Iaune has never been chosen by the Grandfather Tree before, but that's never bothered them, either. They've always done the same work any other noul does, no matter what some might say about the Gift corresponding to true adulthood.
When the gossip about the Grandfather Tree bearing new leaves becomes frustrating, Iaune makes their way forth, only to receive a gift - a completely unprecedented one.
