Quirks: feeds off love and affection( one of the reasons he does a blog on relationships), lactose intolerant, keep the skulls of his parents(and talks to them frequently), can’t fly(wings are more for show), sings when he’s sad, takes baths when he’s talking on the phone or writing his blog (they help him think), anger/hate make him physically ill.
Dislikes: fighting, hateful or angry people(make him ill), coffee, internet trolls, getting teased about his weight, cold water, his parents (skulls) getting dirty(has them on fancy pillows), people who don’t take his advice
Other: Calix is the Bi product of an imp and a succubus who died while trying to save the other. He wasn’t born in the conventional sense.
After the lovers died he was born from their love. Literally. Their bodies became one over time as he was formed from inside them.
Clawing his way from the remains, he kept their skulls as a reminder of who made him... his parents.
He was found by a witch who was passing through. Taking pity on the small hybrid, she brought him into her home.
Calix looked barely a year old when she took him in, loving and caring for him. A love that he craved.... hungered for even.
The small child didn’t really know it at the time.. but this was only the beginning of his undying hunger for love and affection.
The witch loved him.. and he fed off that love. Unknowingly draining the love from her. Til the day she had none left..,
leaving her bitter... hating the child she brought into her. Home. That hatred scared Calix, who really didn’t know what he did wrong.
He was unaware that his craving for love killed the feeling in those around him.
Calix fled when he was 7, running off to another home. And the same thing happened. The person brought him in loved him,
then eventually hated his existence. Finally it got to the point that he became wary of any trying to show him the thing he craved,
knowing they’d eventually hate him. Though he wanted the feelings he knew he couldn’t go on living like this.
When he was 40 he moved into a small cottage away from most people. It had most of the important functions, including internet.
From there he found himself starving. Sure he could eat but he still felt empty... hungry. He started a blog online..
just writing the things he found about love, feelings..to his surprise he started getting questions. Relationship questions.
He would answer them to the best of his abilities, and the reaction of the other person filled that void. And so he continued,
getting the feeling he craved... though it’s enough, he still wants that feeling.
So he waits.. hoping he can find someone who can be with him..
