Thamina

Thamina means valuable, precious, priceless in Arabic. This was not the name she was given at birth. In fact, she hadn't even grown up here alongside her sister Almasi and her father Badru. She had come to them shortly after reaching adulthood. She didn't talk much about why she left or why she was here but she had said she wanted to change her name. So, to give a name similar to her sister, Badru gave her this name. A name for how he saw her. She was precious and loved just as dearly as her sister. It wasn't much of a name to grow into but more of one that she could remember the meaning of. She was loved and cherished. Anytime her name was used, she could be reminded of how valued she is- how priceless she is. It was a slow process to adjust to her new name, but she's growing more fond of it with each passing day.
